I really, really like Mexican food. I do not know if some of these restaurants qualify as Mexican though. I would give this place two stars because of the food. It was edible, but the waiter was friendly. The extra star is also for the beer. I just ordered a pitcher. I do not think too many people order pitchers. Maybe they gave me the wrong pitcher,, a tea pitcher maybe because it was the biggest pitcher of beer I have ever seen.

Decent prices, but the food was disappointing. The fajitas werent sizzling or hot, they seemed microwaved. Also, the beans had hard bubbled areas, which happens when they are microwaved. Although it seemed the majority of the meal had been nuked, it wasnt the worst Mexican Ive had. However, it certainly did not live up to the ratings that I read on Google. I wouldnt recommend this if youre looking for made to order food.

In short, the food is excellent. The quality of the dishes has been much better than what it costs to eat, and I have never been disappointed with any element of my meal. The staff and service is good, but not extraordinary. No complaints, however its nothing to write home about. One thing to note that I enjoy is any of the lunch specials can be ordered after lunch times for a small (and reasonable) increase in price.

We are regular customers here, almost laughingly so. We know all the wait staff and they know us. Great food. Great margaritas, the best anywhere. Best choices are, vegetarian Quesadillas, California burritos, pork dishes, and of course fajitas. Chicken and broccoli or the shrimp and zucchini plates are fabulous as well. The salsa they serve is just about the best as well.

When there for lunch and although the restaurant was full we were greeted quickly and seated promptly. Our server was fast and courteous with out being intrusive. The food was very good and the prices are very reasonable. I will be back here for lunch again. Hard to believe I have overlooked this solid lunch option so close to my work for so long. My mistake.

There are a million Mexican restaurants in town but this is the one to visit. Service could not be better or more helpful, mellow crowd and easy location. Favorites are fajitas, enchiladas, shrimp and of course guacamole. Its very clean, always and Ive been eating here at least one a week with my family for many years.

Wow! I think is place is beyond good. The chicken tacos are bursting with the spectacular taste of flavors south of the Rio Grande. By far the best Mexican Restaurant I have ever had the pleasure to dine. Thank you to the staff and cooks for brighting my otherwise dreary days with gallons of queso.

Monterrey has been a family favorite for about five years now. Our family birthdays are always celebrated there. Great service, plentiful food, comfortable atmosphere, and great value. If you want a restaurant where the Wait Staff remembers you, go to Monterrey.

This has become my regular lunch spot. The food is great and the lunch prices are cheaper than most of the fast food places around. The service is always exceptional and the restaurant is always extremely clean. Im recommending this place to everyone I know.

A wide variety of good Mexican food. Huge variety of different proteins to choose from such as shredded chicken or shredded beef, ground beef, shrimp, or steak. Huaraches, sopes, taquitos, flautas, chimichagas, chilaquilas, along with traditional favorite.

Monterrey is, by far, the best Mexican restaurant in Greensboro. If you are looking for delicious food, good people, and great prices, stop in and check them out. Their salsa is somewhat spicy and a little sweet which makes it perfect. ACP is amazing too.

I used to visit Monterrey, Mexico on business frequently and the carne asada at this restaurant reminds me of that I used to get in Mexico. They also have Sol cerveza which is a favorite! The sevices has always been very friendly and consistent.

This place has never failed with me. They offer chips and dip first and as soon as you order the food it is out within 5-10 minutes. Fabulous and I love it. Plus I get full within bite l bites. Idk what theyre doing but they do it well!

Came here for dinner with a group. Service was great and the seafood was delicious. Scallops were perfectly cooked and the wine list is great. Nice decor and great options for all types of seafood. Highly recommend this place

Exceeded all expectations. Beautiful atmosphere worthy of a wedding party. The food was amazing. I enjoyed the local trout with lemon and capers. My husband enjoyed the tender short ribs with Brussels sprouts.
