My family has been eating here FOREVER...about 13 years. My mom always gets the shrimp scampi OR the pork steak, so she knows these dishes well. My mom, my daughter and I went there last night and my mom ordered the pork steak. When she got her food she realized right away that it was not pork but had me (she hates red meat) try it just to be sure... it was definitely a beef steak. We called our waitress Arlene R. over and explained to her the order was wrong. She told us that it was not wrong and brought the manager over. Manuel and Ramon were managing last night...not sure who came to the table because he did not give us his name, I called after we left and asked for the names of all the managers working that night. Anyways, he was pretty pompous and arrogant and dismissed my mother. He told her that she was wrong and that it was indeed pork, when it was obvious that it was not. It was like someone giving you chicken and saying it was salmon...there is no mistaking the two. His management skills are poor. My mom ended up not eating and I am pretty sure we wont be returning. Not to mention my chicken breast ended up being undercooked which grossed me out and I left my food behind. I didnt complain about it though because at that point we just wanted to get out of there. I know this place is family owned...wish I could contact the owners directly. Your staff, managers included, need training on how to properly handle customers and situations like the ones we had last night...we will take our business some where better.

I will start by saying I am an easy customer to wait on. I always tip more than 20% and make it very easy for waitpersons. The Food like always is EXCELLENT and the kitchen is very consistent in making the plates perfect, I been in La Bamba in peppertree Plaza at least 100 times . We had Dinner last night with old friends and wanted to catch up and discuss issues that are important to us, the conversation is more important than the food and it was very clear that we were trying to ask and answer intelligent and meaningful question, BUT our waiter kept interrupting the conversation, first he walked up to our table and immediately interrupted our conversation to ask "Is the food OK?" , 2 minutes later again, "Is there anything else I can get for you?" 2 minutes later "Did you save room for dessert?" He interrupt the chat 5 times when we were clearly in conversation and he didnt even give the courtesy of walking up and waiting until we stopped talking and to give her our attention. I am noticing this is happening more and more these days. Are wait staff trained not to interrupt? Very disappointing...

Had the cravings for some great Cuban Food and was not disappointed.
Had the traditional..."Ropa vieja" and the "Picadillo" accompanied with rice and black beans, serving of ripped fried plantains on the side.
Big portions, for us, enough to take home and relive the experience.

Excellent Mexican food. But i must say something, there is no Spanish food in the restaurant. For some reason people link language with food. Like saying I am eating English food today and then you end up eating Midwest food. England is in Europe and its food is diverse. But not because in America people speak English, people dont say: lets eat "English food". Same thing with Mexican food. In Mexico they speak an Spanish language but that has nothing to do with its food. That is something else. Mexican food is mostly a mixture between indigenous recipes from the New World with influences from Spain that is in Europe. But the food is mostly Mexican. I was looking for a Spanish restaurant, but there is no Spanish food in this restaurant. Is Mexican food. Delicious but not Spanish.

I have been in the Coral Springs area for a month and I finally found a Mexican Restaurant that has good quality.I live out west and eat at a lot of different Mexican restaurants and La Bamba has the best food in this area.I ordered a chicken enchilada and chile relleno and when I recieved my food I was really happy with the way the food looked, and when I took my first bite I was even happier.I finally found mexican food that tasted the way its suppose to.The enchilada had fresh chicken breast and a lot of cheese like I like and the red sauce had a good flavor. My chile relleno was made good also, with a great egg batter.(If you order one ask for the red sauce over it because they dont put it on normaly)

Okay Im always writing reviews for restaurants because I want people to know the real truth about the food we are eating... Now back to this restaurant... One word to describe this restaurant WOW!!!!! The food was exceptional, great, outstanding, fabulous. ... I think you get the drift.... I ordered the Masa de puerco with white rice and black beans... Can I say this was a great pick the flavoring was on point... And I eat out on the weekends and several restaurants I went to the flavor was never on point... the service was wonderful.... The waitress named Karla was exceptionally kind and very attentive... Thank you for the great food and service.

I went there tonight to celebrate my relatives birthday and pass a good time. But unfortunately I came upon a supposedly manager who was rude and very arrogant. He have no manners and fights with his clients without trying to reasoning with them. Very bad service. If I could, I wouldnt even put a star on this review. And by the way it was my second time there. The first time I over heard the waitress curse out in Spanish a group of people about how little of a tip theyd left. I wouldnt recommend this specifically restaurant to nobody. If I could get in touch with the owner of how rude his employees are. I would absolutely love it.

I had grown up eating at la Bamba. I have been going there for the past 12 years and everytime im there i love the food. Even now that i had moved 2 hours away, me and my family will still make the trip just for the food. The staff is courteous and efficient. The chips and salsa are my absolute addiction. No matter how many times i have begged they will not give me the recipe. I usually get the Cheese Enchilada dinner. The plate comes out piping hot. Great price and great portion. I alway leave stuffed. If your ever in margate, take it from a long time fan and local, and try it out, you wont be dissapointed

I have been going here ever since I was 30 years old. The food is VERY fresh and IS NOT from a can. I usually have stomach issues and whenever I go places like Chilis (Food from a can) gives me bad stomach pains and everything. La Bamba never gave me stomach Issues for more than 20 years. Their food is fresh and their drinks are outstanding. My son has been here his whole life and never got stomach issues. I would recommend going to this place because the staff is friendly and the food is great! Little pricy but it is very good! Come try this place yourself.
