Today I went to Chicken Kitchen and got two carry out meals. One 2wo piece Chicken and one Fish diner. The order took 25 minutes to deliver and the woman behind the counter was surly and obviously did not like white people I watched her go through the already cooked chicken until she found the one she wanted to serve us. It was the worst piece my wife ever ate and she threw it away. The fish was burned hard as a rock and uneatable and was fed to the dog. . This was at the Edenton NC store. I will never go in there again as I may as well thrown 16 dollars into the wind. I am very upset over this and need to hear from someone soon. If not I will take further action.

Hands down it is our favorite place to go for breakfast in Edenton. Try the bacon and egg on toast or the chicken biscuit with a side of grits. In terms of atmosphere it is definitely a dive, but if you are looking for a filling, home-cooked breakfast sandwich, this is your place. I highly recommend you call your order in 10 minutes before you arrive and then go inside to pick it up. The drive through is not geared for speed.

This place is nt for ppl who want to eat more veggies and not for ppl who dnt have time to wait for fresh hot chicken..the food is great and the service is good. Its greasy because almost everything is friend...but you can never go wrong with mashed potatoes mac and cheese greenbeans and chicken...loves this place for dinner and breakfast... 5star for chicken kitchen

We came in and ordered 4 shrimp meals. On top of waiting for more than 20 minutes for our shrimp, the fries were thrown on a plate ...there were 4 of us, no ketchup or condiments offered, then we had to smell floor cleaner the entire time as they decided it was time to mop where we were sitting. Left with headache and will never eat there again.

Its a 5 star breakfast & chicken bisquit place ... our parents have lived in Edenton for 25+ years and this is always a must go breakfast place for us. Sad, after so many years, my elderly mom has to move away. Thanks TOCB for such great food and memories. We will miss you.

9 out of 10 ten times we have to wait for them to cook more chicken, they say just a few minutes my husband once waited almost half an hour. The second thing is they only take cash. The food is good for restaurants but not worth a 30 minute wait.

Basically a KFC knockoff. If you like unhealthy but good fried food then this is the place. Definitely NOT healthy. Note: the biscuits were delicious. I would give it a higher rating but the description said it was "healthy". Come on folks.

The food may be good BUT the description says they offer any kind of chicken EXCEPT FRIED. That is definitely not the case. They ONLY OFFER FRIED CHICKEN. Thats the only reason I rated it as I did. I came here solely because it said no fried.

Dont believe the healthy option to fried chicken. EVERYTHING is fried. Maybe this description is for another restaurant. I ordered the crabcakes and Im still looking for the crab. It was like crab flavored breading. Never again.

Its the same place to eat fried and breaded chicken. They have a sign that say"dont phone call while order". This is a huge disrespect to the customer. Its unbelievable. I dont eat here only for this sign.

Great breakfast and great fried chicken. Not a place to go for watching carb intake as they offer very little in the fruit and veggie world. WE WANT FRESH VEGGIES...lol
