It is the best chicken in town, if you ever notice they clean around every now and then so you know you are getting clean food. they are perfect for huge orders and parties. i like everything that they sell and the service there is great as long you dont be ignorant and really impatient. like this other day,i believe it was a Saturday. this lady started yelling at one of the employees because she has ordered 100 wings but they were not ready, so my reactions was like if anyone out there tries to fry 100 wings then itll take them like 2 hours and their houses are going to be a complete mess, so wait 10-20 mins or so and respect all the employees there. i love the cashiers because they are so nice, they would joke and sometimes even get a lil flirty but its really cool down there.

As promised to the manager this evening; 11/3/16 I purchased clam strips, chicken livers, gizzards, lake trout and chicken that I ALWAYS LOVE! Funny thing is... there is a Popeyes chicken up the street and I would NEVER go there simply for the high value of what you get from HIP HOP vs the competition. Everything from collard greens to fried chicken livers. SIMPLY AMAZING FOOD!! Very happy with the kind service I always receive and the consistent quality. I drive all the way from Columbia to enjoy. I brought some wings from Hip Hop Chicken and when I got home the wings were still red on the inside. When I called them they told me that they would give me more wings. When I got there I was treated very poorly, the staff was very disrespectful. I ordered 20 wings and they only gave me 10 back, they considered the wings that I had broke open to see if they too were red like the first one to be wings that I had ate. Dont recommend! If you like uncooked food that could potentially make you sick then support them otherwise be careful!!!!

This Hip Hop Chicken Location on Liberty Rd that has also runs a discount furniture store attached to it has a horrible roach problem! I found baby black roaches at the bottom of my Large Half and Half Sweet Tea drink that comes a red cup with the HipHop Chicken logo on it that you cannot see through! I purchased two of them and one is still in the refrigerator as I type with the chicken I purchased! I was a loyal customer and recommended the place to family in the past. I am utterly disgusted and will never return again as a customer!

Their food is good, well their chicken, shrimp and gizzards are good. Fries are pretty good, seasoned well, but they tend to get mushy quickly, so you have to eat them while hot. Ive never had an issue w/ their service, but they are ALWAYS packed so if a customer is getting rushed I could see how they would be offended. If you are looking for a good chicken box, this is your place

the chicken was ok, the wait was terrible and the employees were nasty and unprofessional. I will not support them again. If they cannot treat me with respect then they do not need my business. One never knows who is going to walk into an establishment. Many people will continue to pay for bad service because they want their chicken and fish but I do not want either that badly.

So the food is good, but the people...not so much. Went there the other night and one of the workers made an anti-semetic comment. I am not Jewish, but I dont think that I need to be in order to be offended when some makes a blatantly racist remark. The food might be ok, but there are TONS of great chicken places that dont go out of their way to offend customers!

Great fries and great chicken wings. The seasoning they use is addicting. You dont get the multiple choices of wing flavors here. You only get their one choice. So if you want buffalo sauce, bbq, old bay, or moon dust, then this is not the place. If you want yourself a delicious chicken box, then come down here. Get yourself a nice half and half too while youre at it.

I cant get enough of the catfish. Jumbo fried shrimp are good too. I dont get the chicken, can get chicken anywhere. The service is aweful. But they have always been pleasant and polite to me. If you act like an azz, you get treated like an azz. They can keep the fries and slaw, would rather have other choices for sides.

Chicken wings were okay but the fish ISNT LAKE TROUT! Im so sick of these fried chicken joints passing of some trash whiting fish as lake trout! That fishy spoiled tasting fried fish wasnt even close. I was so dissapointed. What is that sugary seasoning?
