Отличное место! Очень рекомендую тем, у кого бюджетный вариант путешествия. Во-первых, получаете реально большие порции (хотя написано минимум на двоих, но по моим меркам там четверых с тарелки накормить можно). Во-вторых качество приготовленного, конечно это не звезды Мишлен, но тем не менее опрятно, чисто и аккуратно приготовлено. Если вас двое не вздумайте заказывать 2 блюда - не съедите!

I bumped onto this place in June 2012. I think this is one of the nicest places for chinese food at an affordable budget that students live on. I have tried the Kung-po chicken, Hunan chicken, chicken with garlic sauce and chicken chowmein. All of which I have never had a problem with. Oh not to mention the soup comes in a cute little bowl and is delicious. Their lunch combos are very affordable and can be moderately filling for one person. (I eat a LOT, so Id imagine Im estimating "moderate" well) I have enjoyed all my meals at May Jen, be it eat in (in their neat little, clean, low budget ambience that they create) or take out. Oh did I mention? They also provide a student discount. All this has made me hungry. No prizes for guessing where Im going for lunch! :)

Im an avid chinese food consumer so when I saw the good reviews on this place I thought finally a good place to get chinese but I was wrong. me and my girlfriend drove 15 minutes to get there at 4:03(they open at 4) and the doors were locked still. I called to see if it was just a mistake and then he had the nerve to tell me I didnt know what time it was as if my phone that automatically updates the time was wrong. we start to walk away and we see him standing out back smoking a cigarette instead of opening the restaurant on time! Awful service and very rude.

Prices are quite high; the majority of the dishes however, are quite good. I would recommend take-out but wouldnt recommend eating in as the owner / management are quite rude (as other reviewers have pointed out). Also, if your entree is sub-par and/or prepared improperly - dont expect a refund.

Good Chinese food for great prices. The serving sizes are also good. If you are a student living near the UB South campus then this is the place to eat Chinese. Some of their items tasted as good as PF Changs. I still keep going there every now and then.

Probably my favorite Chinese restaurant around here. They do take-out, but I think eating in gets you more and a better experience. This isnt your typical "counter style" Chinese place. The food is tasty and cooked well!

The best service Ive had around here. The owner is a gem. Ensured we are well, brought the freshest food and honestly advised us on the portion sizes. The food was really tasty and made to order. Will definitely come back.

Ordered take out, got there 30mins later, had to wait *another* 20 minutes before the food was done. The employees were blatantly rude, and the food was awful and way overpriced. Never going back again.

Best Chinese food in town. Nice cozy restaurant if you just want a quiet meal out. If you want to stay home and be comfortable just order take out and stay home Full menu on line and they even deliver.

They actually have real authentic Yangzhou fried rice (Yang chow fried rice on the menu). Given that it is suprisingly hard to find real authentiv Yangzhou fried rice, this alone deserves five star.

Its a great restaurant when your in a hurry the food is 3/5 the service is 4/5 . The chef has to stop using so much oil in the food other than that this place is good
