Mom and I went here for brunch on a Tuesday. Mom ordered the Hen Pen (I think) with turkey sausage and "very soft" scrambled eggs. I got the turtle mocha and Salmon & Avocado wrap with waffle fries. Lisa our server was very knowledgable and on top of things. My wrap was so delicious; the only thing being that the feta was so unevenly distributed, I only tasted it in one big clump in one of the wrap halves! Also, the mocha she brought out wasnt the one in the "turtle mocha" description; I didnt taste the caramel and it was missing the crumbled walnuts. Moms dish was great...until she got to the eggs. They were so visibly NOT soft scrambled, I was kind of disappointed Lisa even brought them out. She offered to take them back, but moms been watching those "bad restaurant" shows and she was hungry so they just stayed on the plate and, predictably, werent eaten. It was moms second time coming there, and the first time far out-shined this one, just on the basis of getting her eggs wrong this time. UPDATE: This more recent time, I orderd the white lightning omelete, which is egg whites with salsa and "Peasant Potatoes", or fried potatoes and rye toast. My friend got two crab cakes benedicts coverd in hollandaise with "Moms Sassy Apples", which werent very sassy in her opinion. I dont get the TINY portions of my potatoes, salsa and apples. We also ordered a sweet berry crepe to share and it was delicious. I just wish they had buckwheat crepes, which are more authentic. We asked for the coffee flavor specials and the waitress didnt seem to know them, although they have one every day, but other than that, the food, except the apples, was good and the service decent.

Much of the food tastesd like a low cost continental breakfast or cafeteria food. My boyfriend and I ordered several items in order to really get to know the cuisine. Nothing was very spectacular. One of the benedicts came out cold and soggy - our waitress was very apologetic agreeing that it did not look good. The manager on the other hand came over and told us we should read the ingredients next time because things with sauce on them are supposed to be soggy. Go figure... I called the owner to let her know as someone who has worked in the restaurant business for almost 10 years it is pretty poor etiquette for a manager to talk like that to a customer. The owner was apologetic but also told me the manager had worked there for a long time so we should come in and give her and the restaurant another try... No thank you.

Good Food
This place was a disappointment. Le Peep looked very warm and popular inside but looks were deceiving. The table service was decent. If a customer is dissatisfied with a dish due to taste they will have to pay for it and the manger will not come to see if they have been satisfied. I tried about six items on the menu, one item tasted bad the other five were average. The waffle was the worst. It was lukewarm, bland, and brittle. The manager actually said it is one of their best items on the menu...I cannot imagine why. That was my first and last visit.

The food was ok however when I was there on Saturday morning December 19th at 2:15 the hostess with the burgundy sweater on was very rude. We walked in and she acted like we were aliens. She looked at us like we werent supposed to be there. She also did not greet us and when she escorted us to the table when she spoke we could barely hear her. The waitress was ok very average did not try to make conversation. Overall I would not come back to this establishment due to the poor customer service.

Terrible and rude service, food was just ok, syrup was cheap. Cafe Monte, Cracker Barrell or Stacks offer excellent and friendly service, better prices and delicious high quality food. We werent impressed when we came to Le Peep years ago and our experience this time was even worse. We will never return. Shocked they are still in business with the terrible service and just ok food.

Le Peep is hands down the best breakfast spot that I have been to in Charlotte. Not a fancy atmosphere, but the food is superb and very well prepared. I can only imagine that the kitchen is kept in spotless condition during cooking hours because of how the food looks when served. Skillets, Omeletes, Belgian Waffles, Crunchy French Toast, are all delightful. Great prices too.

Great food and very relaxed atmosphere. I had the Eggs Benedict and tried some of the Tex-Mex Benedict and the French Toast, everything was very good! Our waitress Priscilla was amazing and gave us great service! Will return!

Horrible customer service. Brought my staff here to treat the to a business brunch. The food was mediocre and management is clearly not running a tight ship.

Perfect place for a cup of coffee, breakfast or brunch. Love the cappuccino, and eggs Benedict(bit a normal recipe but still very delicious).

I use to go to this restaurant in Conn. But this location does in no way compare to the way I remember my experiences.

Large portions for breakfast! Can be troublesome to get a seat if you have a large group, but is still worth a try.
