ENOUGH IS ENOUGH.. We keep seeing all these lies and bad reviews about our place leaving us no choice but to speak up and tell you all the truth of why these are occurring. We had hired the RIVER DOG BLUES BAND to play at the Ice House Pub on December 2nd 2016 for $250. The band was to play from 9 to 12. They actually started playing (after they tuned up for 25 minutes) at 9:25 and took 2 additional breaks for 22 and 25 minutes which left them actually playing for a lot less than 2 hours. We had all this on tape. We would not have addressed the issue with them and would have just chalked it up to “lesson learned”. But when Paul Glabo showed up to collect something they left behind we expressed our disappointment and HE SAID what can I do to rectify it? Do you want some money back? We said that would be nice. He agreed to give us back $50 and left on what we believed to be good terms. Well apparently he felt different because right after that he had his family and friends start posting a bunch of untrue negative things about us including, terrible service, bad business practices, never pays bands what was agreed to, never go there or recommend this place again, etc. The people that posted these slanderous statements were Frank Glabo, Samuel Glabo, Christopher Pickett, Staci Konkle, William Shomers to name a few. Attached is a copy of the signed check that we paid Paul Galbo along with his signature. We pay all our bands by check. We paid Paul Glabo his $250 as agreed upon even though we were not satisfied with the bands performance. I’m sure the River Dog Blues band is not aware of his retaliation practices and would most likely not be pleased with what he has done since he has now given their band a bad name. We would NEVER have them play at our place again after all this and want everyone out there to know the type of person you are dealing with should you invite them to play at your establishment.

Love karaoke on Saturdays! The DJ rob is outstandingly cool and easy going. The bartenders are sweethearts. The drinks are fairly cheap. The bar is nice and remodeled, clean, and plentying of seating. Flat screens near the bar to watch sports, a jukebox, a dart board. Almost everyday of the week theres something going on wither its a live cover band, trivia, karaoke or open mic night. Its a smaller bar but friendly, clean and Never any problems. All ages hang out there and have a good time. Plenty of parking usually on the street or down the street next to the bar. 5 restaurants/takeout places within walking distance.

The staff is excellent, the owners affable and always offer free drinks if you strike up a conversation. Before it was bought out I wouldnt even think about setting foot in here, now Im a regular.

Great local bar. Beautifully remodeled. Even has a refinished bench from the Central Terminal. Owners and staff are very friendly. Great live music on the weekends.
