Employees with bad-attitudes should be given the opportunity to be pathetic on their own time and not financially impact customers! Not so good food. The worst service in town, seriously. FYI: we eat here OFTEN, but.. not after today. 10 Mins between being seated and being greeted, or to order drinks. Drink order was WRONG, had to ask for 2 corrections. Had to eventually correct drink order by walking up to the counter and asking an employee who seemed to actually care and they fixed us up. Later, had to walk up to the counter to ask for drink refills, straws, silverware and more! Waitress was rude, not 1 smile, sat everything onto the table quite heavily (not quite a slam or complete drop but what ever you could measure next to that). In general we ended up forcing ourselves to eat the meal we paid for since we lost our appetite being so irritated from what should be referred to as simply HORRIBLE SERVICE! The waitress even brought our check to the table WITH the meal when it came out. This is the 1st time in over 30 years I can remember such a thing. Shouldnt they at least ask you if you mind them reaching across your plate while you are eating to cram the paper between objects on the table? There is no excuse for pathetic service. IF an employee really dislikes what they do so badly it brings a horrible experience to customers -- they really should just be let go.

Such a lack of service we left before we were even greeted properly. My husband and I arrived at 9:30 and were promptly seated by a young man dressed as a manager-on-duty normally would be. There were only 6 tables seated and 3 servers in sight (so 2 tables each). We waited several minutes while no one ever greeted us. The host (for lack of a better word) came through after a bit and seated 2 older women kitty-corner to us and asked for their drink order; he had never asked for ours. We waited several minutes more, trying to catch the eye of anyone. Nothing. 2 more women came in and joined the 2 already seated. The "host" promptly arrived to take their drink order and passed right by us as I tried to catch his attention. Some water--no, even an acknowledgement--would have been nice. More time went by. The "host" came by again. He asked the table directly adjacent to us if they were doing ok. Nothing for us. We are a middle-aged, run-of-the-mill couple. I had my heart set on the 5-cheese grilled sandwich. Instead, after more than 15 minutes with absolutely no recognition by anyone working here, we left and went elsewhere. The sad part. When we stood to leave the "host" was near enough to say quietly, "I guess well go now, and find food somewhere else. Ill be sure to rate your service on the internet." He just shrugged and walked away. Bob Evans, you have a problem here.

First of all, its Bob Evans! The restaurant has a consistent generalized menu. They offer brunch / breakfast all day. There are choices for the whole family. The kids menu is pretty good. The coffee is good. The restaurant was clean. The staff was super friendly. The service was good. Added bonus: My daughter had to go to the restroom. I took my daughter to the restroom - the mens room. It was clean. I repeat - clean. I didnt have to clean the toilet seat with wet paper towels and liquid soap. My daughter was able to hit the potty worry free. Thats big. Anyway, if youre looking for a decent place to eat at a good price, this Bob Evans is the place.

We generally go to IHOP, but since my daughter had an event in the area of Bob Evans in Cary we decided to try it. We were pleasantly surprised by the service and the quality of the food. We have been going each and every week for the last 4 months and we never received a bad meal or bad service. Jay, the manager is fantastic! He comes by our table and talks to us as if we are family. I do not know why the other reviews are so bad. Perhaps the authors of these reviews need to lighten up a bit. I strongly recommend dining at this restaurant.

I ordered 2 eggs over easy and country fried steak. It was submitted online so there should not be a communication issue. Got one egg border line over easy the other was completepy cooked thru. Then they put my country fried steak and gravy in same container as my eggs, so my eggs did not taste like eggs. I contacted the Manager David. While he did state how can i make it right? There didnt seem to be much empathy in his tone. I was the only customer that was there at that time no reason why kitchen didnt pay attention to detail.

The hostess ran away from us. We had to ask her to wait on us. And she sat us at a dirty table. And the hispanic employees told us they not want to clean the tables. And then ran away . We had to call the manager. We told them we are on a time limit. And we got free beverages. the salad came with mayonnaise, 3/4 cheese and mustard in it. We got a free salad. The waitress knew we not order it. And we got 3/4 ice in the drinks. We not want any ice in the drinks. We not pay for the meal .We got a credit from the credit agency.

I come in and was greeted on time yes! But the person taking my order was not making eye contact and was in a rush! After taking my order she went right to clean the bathroom!! After about 30 mins of waiting for my takeout order she comes to give me my order food was nasty DRY NOT WHAT I ORDERED! JUST OVER ALL NASTY! I CALL THEM THE MANGER WAS GREAT VERY NICE ABOUT IT AND OFFERED ME A FREE MEAL! BUT OVER ALL THIS LOCATION IS WAY TO MUCH $$ FOR A 1 STAR RESTAURANT DONT WASTE YOUR $

Me and my wife was looking for a home cook breakfast type place to eat at this morning . And Bob Evans really delivered a great T.K.O to our tummy. Country fried steak and cheese eggs with hash browns and Biscuits. My wife has French toast with eggs and hash browns. Must say every thing was very fulfilling . Wish I had room for more . Put me and my wife out of commission for 2 hours naps it was so good. Will be back !

Their policies change depending on who your server is. I ask about substitutions each time because I have received a different answer each time. Their posted hours of operation were incorrect for months despite having them pointed out to a manager multiple times. The service is very hit or miss. The food is great but the wait can be very long even when they are not busy.

Of course they are known for their breakfast food. Lets face it, while not "healthy", that part of their menu is wonderful. But dont dispose, if you want something healthier. They have lots of healthy options. Service is quick and good. My coffee cup never runs dry. Great spot for a meal any time of the day.

My family and I come her a lot. Its just good solid food with quiet atmosphere and no weird stuff. The food comes out hot, fresh and accurately, and the staff are always very friendly and warm. We will keep coming here for breakfast lunch and dinner and we especially love the breads and the desserts! Yum!
