Went here for a date night with my boyfriend for a drink and some food. We go there on a Saturday around 11:30 12ish. The hostess was really nice and directed us to the bar. When we sat down it took the bartender Lindsay ten minuted to greet us and it sure wasnt with a smile on her face. We put in our drink orders and then was ask to see our IDs. I was then told I could not be served, not because I was under 21 but because I did not have a NC drivers license ??? I had a NY state permit which was valid and stated I was well over 21. She said it was "illegal" to serve to me. Which is ridiculous because the drinking age is 21. Ive never heard any rules other than to be of age. But then she asked if my boyfriend still wanted the drink. Like are you freaking kidding me ??! So we walk away to take our business somewhere else the hostess asked if everything was okay and I told her what the bartender told me. Her and the waitresses look confused because theyve never heard that rule before either. So a manager was called and I seen him go in the back with the bartender and I guess get her side of the story. He then came 10 minutes later and asked to see my ID not what my concern is and state they where only allow to accept all forms of NC identification but IDs from other states had to be a drivers license because out of state IDs are easier to be "fake" or duplicated ?? Be in mind they are right by a highway and should get travelers all the time. To refuse someone a drink because the are from here does not make any sense to me. People rarely drive in NY and the chance of getting someone in there with a NY license are very slim. They must have had some legal issues with this before but I wouldnt refuse patrons. They need to get the ID checker if its really that big of a deal where your refusing people. Bottom line this is to let all out of town people without a license DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU WANT TO GET A DRINK ! I will be in touch with the manager to Joe about this issue. Hopefully he can better explain this for me because the manager I spoke with seemed to not know what he was doing nor talking about. Even of he resolved it I feel like the bartender wouldve watered down my drink or something. Also theyre the only BWW that has this rule. Literally never going back. Went to Applebees and gave them my money.

The waitstaff is outstanding but management is horrible. Theyre all over the place and so worried about being seen by customers and speaking to customers that they dont focus on being GOOD managers. Ive witnessed first hand the way a couple of the managers at this location spoke to their staff and Im telling you, if it were me they spoke to that way... I would take action with HR or in court. You cant treat people any way you want and Im surprised theyre able to keep decent help. Not to mention it wasnt pleasant sitting down to enjoy dinner with someone who was clearly sick as hell coming to my table to "check on us" and see if we needed anything. Is their management team completely ignorant? You work in FOOD SERVICE!!! SEND THE SICK EMPLOYEES HOME!!!! Thats ridiculous. On a lighter note the food is great but sometimes you could be waiting 20-30 minutes just to get your bill and to go boxes or drinks, especially when theyre busy. But I personally think if the management were different and sincerely friendly, not just to customers, but to their employees who are keeping the place up and running, things would be a lot better. If youre going to talk to your waitstaff like dogs at least do it where it cant be heard.

Sunday 3/26/17 1pm My wife and I have been in North Carolina for a year and a half. We moved from Minnesota, and trying to find hockey games is no easy task. We have tried multiple times at this "sports bar" to watch hockey while having a good time as a date day. We planned to spend money and be valued patrons. On top of countless worthless trips to this location, today, we had had enough. We sat on the patio, where there was only one table at the time, and requested the wild hockey game be put on. It took 15 minutes for them to put the game on, which we were very grateful for. We understand, its sunday, changing the TV isnt a top priority. But 10 minutes after we got the game on, it was then changed to a different channel. This has happened on more than one occasion. There are multiple TVs all over this place, many of them not being watched. But it feels as if it is always the TV that we are watching that gets changed. There is no priority of creating long-time customers at this location, and we will not be returning. I have one star only because I knew my server and she has had tables leave because of the same reason. This location needs to start having better relationships with its patrons.

For the past few times I have been there the take out food has always been low on the quality spectrum. Yesterday we ordered one small wings with hot sauce, and fries with cheese. It took around 30 minutes to get the order, once we got there. The lady forgot to put it in the system when we called. Besides me noticing the waitresses were talking trash about their tables directly in front of me, and telling the host that they refuse to take a certain group of people in their section, that experience was okay. Once my food was finally finished and I drove five minutes to my house down the street, the food was frozen, and the wings looked like they were made a hour earlier. For the price you pay for 9 wings and a side of fries (around 15$ or so) youd expect a more pleasurable experience, but I guess as long as people will pay for that quality it will remain the same. When I dine in the quality doesnt get much better, but I will say learn the manager Joe astutos schedule because when he is there the food and overall experience is at a higher caliber.

BWW is a great chain overall. For this Burlington location, there are several things to like and dislike. I think the atmosphere is why you go. Wings are pretty good too. But the wall to wall screens for games, bar, etc is why you go. Its great for fantasy drafts, its free and they set up a board for you and everything. The food I would say is 4/5 stars. Its bar food. Wide variety of burgers, wings, chicken, even dessert is quite good. There seems to be some complaints about the wait staff. Ive been to this location for years and overall it is pretty good. I would say the kitchen is the issue. Sometimes weve waited 45 minutes just for food. Other times its like 20. It just depends. I think the wait staff is attentive but not overly friendly. The food is good not great. Service is solid. The atmosphere is why I go.

Ok, I gave 1 star only because of location and amount of tv ( games) u can watch. Food: For a person who does not eat red meat - not much choices at all, so I decided to go with chicken salad, but asked to substitute chicken for fried shrimps, well Ive been told that its not possible to do, what they could do - is serve salad without chicken and add an fried shrimp as an appetizer, and of course, they will charge full prices for both of them. I was hungry so I agreed. Ive got my salad and the shrimps as well. Salad was slack, and the shrimps were kept defrosted for a while ( you can tell by specific taste). So watch not just game but what you are eating at that place or eat at home and go there just for drink!!!
