Where to begin? When you walk in, you will be prematurely excited if there is a short line; they havent quiet figured out a system that makes sense for taking orders. A cup of coffee can take more than 15 minutes to order. Once youve practiced your patients in line and it is finally your turn, the staff will be jerks about 70% of the time. I assume the attitude is due to the high volume of tourists that venture into this black hole of a bakery and return customers are not in their target market. I write this review while deciding that as a local, this is my last time supporting this company after many failed chances. Go to Brueggers Bagels 1.5 blocks away and save yourself some grief.

The food was excellent and all was well until I ate their oatmeal raisin cookie. You see they labeled four or five of their cookies as containing nuts, so I assumed the ones that werent labeled that way didnt contain nuts. Boy was I wrong! My whole body broke out in hives from the walnuts in the oatmeal raisin cookie and it could have all been avoided by properly labeling and warning customers of potential allergens. Please update your displays!

GOOD FOOD, GOOD PRICE Stopped off for a sandwich, but ended up with a beautiful Gouda Cheese Quiche, English Pea Salad and Fruit Compote, all perfectly done and quickly put on the table. One orders as you enter and food then is brought to table. Beverages like Lemonade have free refills. If youre in Biltmore Village and dont want to pay a fortune across the street, this is the place. Oh yes, definitely buy cookies or pastry for take home.

Got away for a girls day and decided to stop in for lunch. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful in suggesting a few choices for us first timers. The food was delicious. So good in fact that we came back later that same day to share a mountain eclair. If you dont know what that is, you should definitely stop in to find out. You will not be sorry. They also offer homemade dog treats if you bring your pet and dine in the courtyard.

Fantastic, cozy spot in downtown Weaverville. You feel like youre in confectionery heaven with so many tasty dessert options, but they also have great food options like sandwiches, soups and delicious quiche varieties (including one made gluten-free). Oh, and they have yummy gluten-free options for dessert also (although its a true bakery so if youre full-blown celiac you still couldnt have anything).

We used Well-Bred Bakery for our wedding reception and were very pleased. The desserts looked and were amazing! Nur did such a good job coordinating the event and is so friendly. I did a dessert bar with different types of desserts and all of them were fantastic. My wedding cake was exactly how I imagined. They went above and beyond my expectations. Wow! Such great customer service. The food was excellent and there were many choices. The manager is very friendly and the atmosphere is quaint and cute. Our food was initially delivered only partially complete. When this was pointed out, the manager not only corrected the issue but gave us a giant chocolate chip cookie on the house! Cannot recommend enough. Great for couples seeking brunch.

Excellent pastries, fantastic sandwiches, and the curry chicken salad is great! The pastries have a great selection to pick from, theyre not a cloying sugar bonanza, and are just very well put together. These pastries dont need to rely on a ton of sugar to be tasty! Absolutely cant recommend this place enough!

This place cannot win enough accolades. In a town like this, you expect there to be a bakery somewhere that just destroys all other bakeries, and this is the one youre looking for. Every pastry in their case is outstanding. I love to go in for a cookie and coffee whenever I happen to be nearby.

We stopped in for a little dessert and walked into a baked goods wonderland.... there are so many choices and everything looks amazing!!! The Lemon Bar and Swedish Cream are we we shared and both were equally amazing and fresh!! This is a must stop if you are in the Biltmore Village! !

Weve been here several times. The curry chicken salad is a fave of ours and I love the peanut butter pie. Outdoor seating is nice when the weather cooperates . Parking is a pain if the place is busy or you arent fond of parallel parking, but I find the food worth the trouble.

Best Key Lime Pie ever! I love the ambiance in the dining room; cozy and fresh, just makes you feel good, not to mention to aromas of decadent bakeries. Wonderful place to stop. Ive had some of their savories and lunch items as well. Cant go wrong. Welcome to the Village!

Great solid service. Been here two times and each time has been great. We had an issue with our meal the second time but they had no problem replacing it and very apologetic. Even gave us a free oatmeal cookie, which was Delicious. Great bakery with fantastic sandwiches.

Great food and reasonable prices! The restaurant itself is well-decorated, clean, and cheerful. All of the workers were happy and respectful. Everything I tasted had terrific flavor, and I was thoroughly surprised at the low prices.

Good place to stop in Biltmore Village for a light bite. Help is very friendly. Would go e them 5 stars if they lowered the price of their iced coffee and fixed their outdoor patio so the chair legs dont fall through the cracks!

Oh yes, yes, yes! Cookies the size of pancakes! Eclair Mountains, and I mean MOUNTAINS! Great coffee, beautiful clean dining area. If you are visiting the Biltmore area, do yourself a favor and enjoy a treat!

Visiting town. Wanted to get a cinnamon roll, but only on weekends. So I left and went elsewhere. Maybe they should note that on their website Menu so not to waste peoples time!!!!

Last visit two of the staff were really rude just because I asked for extra condiments. Sent email to manager and was basically shrugged off. Im local, grew up here. We wont be back.

Amazing GIANT mountain eclair. Big enough to share and then some! And the thing is filled with cream not air like I thought it would be. Chicken curry salad is pretty good too.
