It was pretty good, but not great. Not quite sure about all of the glowing reviews. I really wanted to like this place! The biggest issue is they are not family friendly. No high chairs and no type of counter to change a baby in the bathroom. Many breweries have these things (the ones who allow all ages), so Im not sure why they wouldnt. I get that a big part of their clientele does not include children, but to the parents who want to have a beer and enjoy a bite, having to hold your child during the meal is an arduous task. The food was OK, but pretty overpriced for the amount ($12 for 3 scallops). If it was better food it may be justifiable, but the flavors were off. Some things just didnt plain go together. Also I just wasnt really digging the menu, much of it just didnt sound appealing. The beer is also just OK as well. One was really good, another pretty neutral, and the other was pretty funky. Also the waitress was good, but upon hearing my husband say we should have brought the baby some cereal (even though she was eating the other food) the waitress brought us some crostini. I thought it was a nice gesture. Turns out when we got the check it cost .50¢. Its not a huge amount, but there were only four very small pieces of bread and were paying high prices for food and beer, thought it would have been free. Especially since we didnt ask for it, she just said she would bring some. I doubt Ill be back, especially since its kind of a haul from most attractions in the area.

In such a saturated market of breweries, this one certainly stands as one of the best! We travelled from Atlanta to Asheville for a small road trip and ended up at this little gem. Parking was a breeze and we walked right up to the back entrance, which was a garage door-style opening that lead to a huge bar area with high-tops and tables. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, they didnt make us feel like tourists either, which is a huge plus. It wasnt even the beer that brought us here, their food menu looked extensive and amazing. Well, neither disappointed. I had a Black Gose, I believe it was named Mollys Black Lips, and as the first black gose Ive had, it was great. The shining star of the entire meal was the Pork Belly Gnocchi, I mean GOODNESS GRACIOUS that stuff is tasty. We also rocked the arugula salad, and this incredible brisket crunchwrap, which all had a lot of flavor. Dont miss this spot, I have a feeling theyll be one of the go-to places in the area for many years to come! Cheers!

There are better beers in Asheville. After waiting in line for 15 minutes I was excited by the idea that this must be an awesome place with so many people. Once we finally got served by a beer tender who obviously was not enjoying their job, we took to a semi-quiet corner to enjoy. I was no more than a couple of sips into my mediocre brew when a heavily goth dressed server equested that I not touch the wooden casks next to me "because we dont want your oils and bacteria on them." I am sure they were put off by my incredulous look as they walked away to continue their conversation with another employee while others waited to be served. Why would they put barrels on display in a crowded bar if they were afraid of people touching them? The vibe really sucked and I would not go back. Neither the beer nor the staff are worth it.

I came here with my family just for a beer. We waited at the bar for 5 minutes. There were 4 other people at the bar, then the bartender told us, "we have table service so you can take a seat." We obliged and sat down even though we were only coming for one and wanted to pay right away.. We sit down, no one comes over for 10 minutes so my dad tried one more time to order from the bar one more time and the bartender claimed that wait staff was coming over and again refused to serve him a sample. After that a waitress came over and told us this was a bar table! We had to tell her that she refused to serve us. Finally another waitress came over and was absolutely fantastic. Got us samples, flights, and individual beers. She was very attentive and brought everything quickly.

Server was nice, but everything else was horrid. Sent back three of four entrees (food came out mixed up, side came out not as described, the side salad was literally just arugula, but all of that pales in comparison to three burgers went back for being charred to death and inedible. Chicken sandwich stayed, but was just OK, more sauce than chicken). Manager never showed up, unless he was the guy who stopped by to say "we took the burgers off the check, but at least you liked your chicken". If 3/4 of the dinner is inedible, maybe the manager could throw in an apology. (Most places would have comped the one meal that was edible, or comped a beer, or offered to do something, but at the very least an apology.) Not going back here again, thats for sure!

Tried this lovely new Asheville restaurant on a snowy night, and I am so glad we braved the roads. The ambiance and many creative hive-themed touches seemed just right. We opted to sit in the dining room and our service was excellent in spite of a full house in the tap room. The Brussels sprouts, the burger, and the Carolina Common beer were all really delicious, but the item that I wish I hadnt had to share was the cherry grilled cheese with Nutella fondue. I plan to return very soon and order it as my main course :) It was excellent!

We ate at a lot of great restaurants in Asheville. This place was absolutely the best meal we had. The burger is perfect. The rest of the menu changes frequently but Id trust them with anything at this point. The service was also fantastic. They were super friendly and welcoming (even gave us a handmade list of other great spots in town). Go there and be happy!

Love the atmosphere and the beers. Only one bad experience and I think it was due to the fact that it turned out to be a nice night out and the girl serving tables was overwhelmed. We didnt get served (or acknowledge) after about 20 minutes so we went elsewhere. Still, good enough prior experience to chalk that visit up to a fluke. Definitely check it out

A thoughtful and tasty brewpub that offers 16 great food friendly and unique brews plus an incredible kombucha on tap. Tasty and delicious beers and menu items mix in this eclectic wood environment that is great to hang and enjoy with friends. The brewer brings his chef background to the beer menu, using food flavors to make a special meal. Highly recommend.

On a recent trip to Asheville we visited several local breweries and Bhramari was our favorite. They have really creative and unique takes on beer. I had an eight beer flight and I enjoyed each one in its own right. The space is big with a relaxed vibe and the staff was friendly and laid back. If you want to try some interesting brews, this is your spot!
