I have been going to this brewery ever since they opened and they have never failed to exceed my expectations! Their beer is by far the best locally brewed beer in town. Even though they are the "new guys" they always have like 20-30beers on tap and thats pretty impressive. They make sours and Saisons, specialty Belgians, you name it. So I had guests in town last weekend and took them out to dinner here Friday night. We got a drink downstairs while we waited for our table. The waitress and bartenders downstairs were so nice to us. Even though they were busy they never treated us like they didnt have time to answer our questions. And we had apologized to the waitress because we ordered our first round at the bar, but she said it was no problem they all work as a team there! Then we sat upstairs and the food was fantastic! It came out in great timing, we were so surprised because they were packed. Overall, we just had the best time and I will continue to go and continue to rave about this place. One last thing- I tried their Beet IPA. Coolest beer ever. Its truly a fruit IPA that tastes and looks like beets. But dont worry if you want something normal, they have plenty of those options too! Either way, Wiked Weed is a new Must-Do in Asheville.

Had a large group of 8, Hostess was very rude and unfriendly but we decided to stay. After about 1.5 hours and a couple beers we ask the hostess if our table was almost ready and they had already skipped our party by 2 pages and acted like they "forgot". We were the only party on the paper not crossed off .... Finally we get seated in the outside/inside section even though we had ask to be seated inside even if we had to split our party up. Needless to say It was pretty chilly. We all order and our appetizer of calamari tasted like it had been defrosted and heated up in a microwave. Everyone at the table ordered a burger of some type cooked medium and my girlfriend had the buffalo meat loaf. Our food arrived and everyones burger was cooked well done and my girlfriends meat loaf was very dry and her greens were under cooked. The food was ok at best. The waitress was neither bad nor good. She met the minimum standard. The only thing i enjoyed at the place was the beer. Too bad wicked weed could not show our group a better time. To top it off it was my girlfriends birthday and she wasnt very happy with everything. I will probably not be a return customer considering Asheville has much better breweries anyways.

Visited on 10/18, and was immediately impressed by the layout and the design of the place. The feel is rustic and modern at the same time. We started upstairs for dinner after a short wait to get in; it was filled to capacity (or at least thats what the doorman told us). The selection upstairs was varied. After dinner, we had another beer and headed downstairs for a couple more, as it had a few different choices than the upstairs did. Overall, from the quality of the food, the variety of the menu and the, lets just call it what it is, greatness of the beer, the experience was great. 5 stars for the product and the atmosphere. The IPAs and sours at this place are off the charts good. The only setback is the borderline rudeness of the bartenders and the distraction of the servers. We had to wait to too long to get our orders in (and we definitely understood the amount of people that were there, the wait was that long). And I get that there are tons of drunks waiting for their next beer, but a fake smile goes a lot further than an annoyed sigh. Dont get me wrong, dont let the servers and bartenders discourage you, the beer and food are that good, just be prepared if youre not wowed by the service.

Dog friendly?! Yeah right. I have two huskies, super friendly but puppies, so they bark loudly when excited. They love other dogs never been aggressive a day in their 8 months of life. Well the manager felt the need to tell us if my dogs didnt behave themselves then we would need to leave. Excuse me but I thought this was dog friendly. My huskies never snap or get aggressive at anyone or any dog, they are tied to a pole while I eat. HOWEVER there was a one legged pyranies here that was aggressive owner even told me was "nervous" and started barking at me without any dogs around, wasnt even friendly with humans. Manager didnt ask them to leave but decided my huskies were too much because every dog that got close they greeted, a little loudly, but outside on patio a nice wholesome husky welcome. Food was decent beer was great but as far at pet friendly seems to be very selective. Apparently huskies are just a negative breed no matter how loving they are, really rubbed me the wrong way and ruined my experience.

Ive been there at least 3 times and there was only one time that it was decent. The first time I went there I asked to be seated at a table. I had a friend who was meeting me but had not arrived. THEY WOULD NOT SEAT ME! That is not the way to earn loyalty! I had plenty of money to spend. Having served in many restaurants in my life, this was unacceptable. When I eventually tried 2 of their beers and both were disgusting. I have been to most every brewery in town. Ive lived here for 21 years! THEN, last night I went again (friends wanted to go). I ordered a Moscow Mule and they made it with Sour Mix! YUCK! Its a simple drink to make - Just Vodka, Ginger Beer/Ale, and lime. It was absolutely disgusting and my head hurts this morning from it! I only had one drink! I wont be going back there again no matter what friend asks!

Our first night in Asheville and we were attracted by the crowd and energy coming out of this place. Without any tables being available for immediate seating, we parked at the large community table and ordered. I got the Bison burger and it was tasty... I always go for the unusual meats but am frequently disappointed in this case that the Bison was not as juicy as beef. The blue cheese slaw was tangy and tasty which made up for the dryness. I enjoyed it but will choose something different next time. I spent most of the dinner coveting my wifes candied brussel sprouts and my daughters Pub Hash and Bacon. I dont specifically recall which of their Beers I had but it was good. I was frankly a little too much on the hungry side savor as much as I usually do. We will be stopping in again when we are in need of a quick bite.

BAD, BAD, BAD, service. We got there at 2:30 this Sunday afternoon. Sat in the outside area. Several empty tables. It took about 10 minutes for someone to come speak to us. We ordered our drinks and food and she was gone again about 10 minutes. When the drinks arrived, she had brought one of our guests the wrong beer. We again ordered what she had originally requested in the first place and the waitress put the wrong beer on the table next to us and immediately walked over to the long table out front that was totally full of people and began taking orders. Our food arrived about 5 minutes later and still no replacement beer. Our friend ate her entire lunch before the replacement beer arrived. I wanted to raise hell but our friend said she just wanted to finish and get out of there. Terrible!!!!!
