My wife and I went here by someones recommendation. The atmosphere was great the place is a little on the small side with not much seating. We were seated at the bar which was okay. We ordered a charcuterie plate, a scotch egg, a chicken leg on the bone plate, and fish and chips. While the meats on the charcuterie plate work good there were only a few sliced pieces of meat , a few slices of bread, and some pepperoni that was too spicy to eat. I really didnt feel I got the value for that dish. The Scotch egg with overcooked solid in the middle, and it seemed to be made from andouille sausage which made it quite spicy. My wife got the chicken on the bone plate which was basically a leg quarter which was baked. While the exterior was crunchy the meat inside was very dry and bland. I decided to try the fish and chips as the restaurant had an English pub feel to it. The meal came with french fries and mashed peas. The fish was greasy and I could only finish a few bites before it was too heavy on my stomach. The fries were very thinly cut and fried and tasted like they had set under a heating lamp for too long and then cooled down. The peas were bland and just processed. Well the atmosphere is great here as well as the service and food was a Miss tonight. I will have to give them another try as many people seem to enjoy it.

One of the best burgers Ive ever had. Everything about it just worked. The bun was light and fresh, the beef was flavorful, and the onion and pickle complimented the House Dijonaise, adding a delicate sweet and salty profile. As soon as we walked through the door, we were met with a friendly staff and our waitress, Laura, was wonderful. The Ox bone broth was excellent as well. We will certainly be back!

My partner and I went there shortly after opening and it wasnt bad at all. The atmosphere was a bit loud, mostly due to a large party in the other dining area, but our food was good. Its nice having another meal option on Charlotte St. (And the fact that they work with both City Bakery and Chop Shop to serve locally made food)

This was our anniversary dinner and it was perfect! The atmosphere is fantastic, the staff is helpful and above all else the food is to die for! Great alcohol selection and did I mention the carrot cake will make you a believer, in everything. This has become one of my favorite places!

Never going back!!!! Extremely overpriced. Salmon entree was like a snack for my husband and kids (it was maybe 5oz) with two carrots and pea pods. I had the ceasar salad with shrimp and the shrimp was dry and overcooked. Service was ok...a little on the slow side.

English pub style fare. Then bone broth is a highly fortified chicken/beef combination cooked for three days, and you can taste the strength in the recipie. Very good bangers and mash. Nice dimlit bar atmosphere.

Fair to say we will not be back for while. A good 45 minutes wait just for the drinks and we had better burgers at some local food trucks. Sorry guys but theres a lot of room for improvement.
