I went in for the Wednesday $5 burger special. I typically drink water at lunch but was told that the special requires a drink purchase so I opted for a Mich Ultra draft. My co-worker ordered a flatbread pizza with sausage, onions, and peppers. The special covers any of their burgers; I opted for the Irish cheeseburger. Although I ordered med-rare, the burger came out closer to med-well. The burger still tasted great though. It came with steak fries and was an excellent value for the price. The pint of beer was a little pricey at $3.50. The toppings on my co-workers flatbread pizza tasted great but the pizza itself (way bigger than we thought it would be) tasted like something I could make at home by throwing a bagel in the microwave with some ragu and cheese on top. The crust was not crispy and the sauce was not flavorful. All in all I enjoyed my lunch and will be back to try the wings and to have another burger.

We came here because at some point we wanted Sheppards Pie... I saw great reviews, and Maloneys website said all burgers were $6 on Wednesday. So we were in. And, as hubs just told me, the burgers were worth much more than $6! As most of our evenings begin, many other restaurants were suggested by both of us. Coupons were uncovered. Yelp reviews were scrutinized. Moods were dissected. Then, after leaning toward Sheppards Pie, we discovered Maloneys $6 burgers on Wednesdays. Delicious burgers! I got the Blarney Bacon Burger (cooked perfectly medium) & loved every single bite. My Jameson Irish Mule was fabulous (but $7!). Hubs enjoyed his $4 Hart draft, and his off-menu burger with mushrooms & provolone. He really loved that burger. And the service was excellent. We will definitely be back for $6 Sheppards Pie on Tuesdays!

I went to Maloneys in Westchase for dinner tonight and everything was fine. Good food and excellent service. No complaints there. The only criticism is that outside of the name and decor, there is nothing Irish about the place. Dont expect to ever hear Irish music. Ive been to Maloneys about a dozen times in the past three years and its no different than any other sports bar. Ditto for "Irish 31" a few blocks away. Too bad. Maloneys says "Irish" on the outside of building but thats all.

Overpriced, pretentious with a snotty bar staff. Just another run of the mill, nothing special wanna be Irish "pub". Food was overdone and was more than a little nauseated when I saw the cook walk out of the mens room w/out washing his hands. I think the guy who cooked may have even been a manager. If you want real Irish flavor and ambiance, stick w/ Obreins, the Dubliner or Peggy ONeills.

Their food is ok. Atmosphere changes throughout the week. For an "Irish Pub" is ok. They have a decent select of beers. Beers are a little pricey (nothing like WOW though). They recently raised their lunch specials $1 across the board. After a mandatory drink and tip, $10 hardly seems worthy of a "special". Im done going here for lunch, its not worth it.

Been there 3 times to give them a chance. First time just after they opened and the last time was recent thinking they have had time to correct. Same things that were disappointing on first trip. Food is not that good and draft beer is not cold. Service was fine and they have some nice entertainment on certain nights but I must give this place a c - at best.

Service was very good. I deducted one star from what would have been five due to the inability to get to the restroom. The tables are so squeezed into the center of the pub that it is impossible to get through the crowd. We enjoyed the pub on the patio. The food was excellent and the beer was cold. Really, its a 5 Star joint, but too crowded in the center.

Friendly but not overbearing staff. We split and entree, they put it on separate plates, & were nice about it. It is a tad more grungy than I like, but nothing too bad. Have eaten here a few times. Respectable bar food, about what you would expect.

Bartenders and staff are awesome. During football season this is the place to watch your team. It is a bar, therefore they specialize in bar food, so if your pallet is requiring something a little more fancy, maybe go somewhere else

This place was great, food was fast and cooked perfectly, service was good but the people didnt hover all over you. It has a relaxed feel for sure and the food is definitely over 4 stars for the pub/bar scene.

Great neighborhood pub. Has Irish feel, without being too over the top. Great place to meet up, play some games, or just have a pint. Live music on the weekends, and great food any time.

Not just another Irish Pub. For Pub fare I found the food is good, theres a nice variety the menu and is reasonably priced. Their Carb Conscious Entrees are a great deal.

Ive been here a few times with friends. The wings and beer are great. Love the chill atmosphere. The womens bathroom could use a renovation, but its a bar not the Ritz. :)

Cool place in west Tampa, ideal place to have a beer and chat with friends. Weekends you will find live music and of course many screens to watch your favorite game.

Shepherds pie meat was tasteless and probably freezer burnt. The wife and I have been sick all day from it. Staff was at friendly, but not terribly knowledgeable.

Great deal on burgers on Wednesdays! Nice spot with the best waitress Nicolet. She is very quick and always has a smile on her face.

Decent atmosphere. Food was mediocre. The menu is more American bar food than Irish. Dont get excited about the Sheppards Pie.

Typical Irish fare. Prices are reasonable, staff is friendly and attentive, and they have a good amount of outdoor seating.

MNF might be better enjoyed if you stay clear of "wing specials"...small, dried, and practically no meat on the bones
