This is my go to spot whenever I visit my family in New Hyde Park. If youre out for typical diner fare, such as Burgers, Eggs etc... this place is like most other diners - except it is always packed with customers. What does that tell you??? Where they really excel is in their lunch and dinner specials. The portions are huge, the quality of the food is consistently good, lots of varieties to choose from as well. The staff is always friendly and service is usually prompt, except they can be slow during rushes, so you have to give them a break all you snob reviewers. This is the best diner on the North Shore, as evidenced by all the repeat customers. Whenever Im there I see people I know at more than one table. Great Onion Rings, the best Chicken Salad, solid half pound burgers, Greek and Mediterranean style dinners, friendly owners who know all their customers - what else can you ask for in a diner?

Ce diner est typique de cette région des Etats-Unis. On y mange de délicieux pancakes, du bacon bien grillé et des oeufs sous toutes les formes. On se croirait vraiment dans un décor de film à mi-chemin entre The Big Lebowsky et Pulp Fiction et pourtant, cest la réalité pour de nombreux habitants du quartier.

The food is... AWSOME! You have to try the homemade bread pudding, ask for it warmed with a scoop of Vanilla ice cream, OMG! Update* They changed the bread pudding recipe, and when we told them about it, they (wait staff) had a good laugh on our behalf. So I can no longer recommend the bread pudding. Combined with the un-professionalism drops this review from a 5 to a 2!!!

Looked nice from outside, and just got better and better as you walk in, order and eat. Food comes in generous portions, delicious and well prepared. Reasonably priced and great atmosphere. Would definitely go again when I have a chance.

For the most part, the people who work there are very nice and attentive and speak many languages. Portuguese, Spanish, Greek and English. Great food and great portions. Pricey, but worth it. Its all good.

This diner has the best homemade turkey burgers. All white meat and juicy. Prices are average to most diners on long Island. Food is always fresh and served hot. Parking can be an issue at peak hours.
