I really enjoyed everything about this place, the people were nice from hostess to busboy. The food was great for the price, My family and I have had a years long tradition of going to a different place every Sunday for breakfast - over the past several years weve tried a few hundred places - about half of which have been in Manhattan - OK many of them were simply gorgeous but the prices were ridiculous (circa $24.00 for 2 eggs any style w/potatoes and toast- No meat - that is never included and $7.00 - $9.00 average price for a small glass of juice - mostly in Hotels) There was not even a picture on the wall so in the "Décor" category - I had to minus at least One star, although to their credit, I believe that in keeping "frills" to a bare minimum they are able to keep the place very clean, cleanliness is top priority with us! We love to go to beautiful restaurants but once in a while it is nice to just sit in a clean, non-pretentious "diner" have good food at a great price and enjoy the company you are with. Nothing more.

New to the area, this is a breakfast spot that stays open a little later than breakfast, but not too late. Portions are massive. If you order the omelette, prepare to be full for the day. This is much more than your average 3 egg omelette. Picture a small football sized cooked egg filled with whatever fixings mentioned on the menu section you chose from, with a side of 3 average sized buttermilk pancakes to put it over the top, with an option of smothering them in soft butter and warm syrup. The menu otherwise, is a mind boggling amount off options to chose from. My waiter showed me the second side to the menu and I was taken back by so many breakfast choices. A little pricier than those chain breakfast choices, and not open as far into the night as them either, but you are paying for much more food and better service than those other places. Whether you go alone, or with a group of friends, I think its well worth the price.

Just a bit on the pricey side for basic breakfast fare you can get at any decent diner for less, otherwise it might have earned another star. The service was prompt and courteous, the food arrived quickly, although it was unremarkable. The dining room was clean, a bit like a diner but with more natural light. About the only genuine fault other than the food not being anything more than youd expect is that the coffee cream pitchers seemed specially engineered to dribble on the table when you pour. The trick:pour over the back of your spoon.

The food is amazing, hands down. Been their more than once, today we had the apple pancake, corned beef hash, eggs with bacon, home fries and banana pancakes and the cook knocked it out of the park. Our Apple pancakes, which they warn you could take up to 45 minutes only took 8 minutes. Our waiter Sean told us tips and suggestions right up front and was so friendly! My only complaint would be that the AC wasnt working and it was so hot, they actually closed the restaurant. Food and service was on point though, will continue to come back!

It was hot and crowded and the service was bad. It took them a long time to come to our table and when they they did I ordered chocolate milk for my drink. They came back after a while with my drink but they gave me hot chocolate instead. The meals are all too big and the some can make you sick from eating so much. Overall I would rate it 2 stars because the service was poor, the meals were too big and not that good, and they do not get your order correct as much as you would want them to.

Overall disappointing. Fairly large seating area with a lot of staff but service was incredible slow. Several tables were not cleared even though a crowd was developing in the entrance. General sticky feeling from the seats, floors and even menus. Menu is pretty big, American breakfast, various types of pancakes, not inexpensive. Food was disappointing. Took a long time to place and order, receive the food, and wait for the bill. Hours are odd, while it opens early it also closes very early.

I love most of their dishes but the star of the show at this place is their apple pancake. Its like an apple turnover with the apple on the outside and fluffy pancakes instead of flaky crust. The omelettes are nice as well: much fluffier than most diners. To those expecting IHOP sized dishes, you may be disappointed. They serve normal non-obese adult-sized dishes. You will not leave hungry but you wont come out feeling stuffed like you will from a meal at ihop.

I had a very bad experience there on our 3rd visit. Too long to go into (the manager was aware of my issue) I posted my review on their Facebook page and also on mine. Would not go back there again nor can I recommend this restaurant. I posted a live video, took pictures and I have the receipt as proof of my experience. Disappointed to say the least

My family came to eat breakfast at the White Plains location. It was mostly Caucasian eating my daughter was yelling because she is only a baby and the people who sat in front of me was complaining making it very uncomfortable for my family! We left feeling upset. Z

The Original Pancake House isnt anything special. The food was subpar. I had ordered the Spanish omelette with the Swedish pancakes and it wasnt visually pleasing nor did it taste very good. For the price you pay vs what you get, I would not recommend this place.

Wow, what an omelet!! I had the bacon cheese and it was some of the best bacon inside a huge tasty omelet and that came with a side of 3 pancakes, lets just say it was good and I was major full. My waiter I think his name was Ray, really nice guy & great place!

Terrible Service from start to finish. food came out late and most of it was raw and the strawberries were going bad served with my breakfast. This place is staffed with a lot of inexperience wait and cook staff. dont waste youre time nor money coming here

The waiter was nice but very slow. I ordered an omelette with turkey bacon on the side. The omelette was awful and the cook forget to make the turkey bacon. Pancakes, which came with the omelette was very average. I will not come back to this place.

Awesome food and awesome service! Prices are super low compared to most breakfast places. Much better quality than IHOP. I cant see why anyone wouldnt like this place. Im going there again very soon!

Every time I want breakfast I go here. Its to the point where my girlfriend doesnt even ask me where I want to go anymore. I love this place & its too good to pass up. IHOP doesnt compare.

The food and service was excellent! I ordered the buttermilk pancakes, my husband ordered Blueberry pancakes and we both had the home fries. You definitely need to try this place! :)

I took my mom And family to celebrate my mom birthday . I have to say our Moses was very great and kind.He was very attentive and helpful . The food was very good too
