Its a diner so its a diners atmosphere the food is pretty good the only thing is you shouldnt have to tell them to have bacon well cooked DONT THROW IT IN THE GREASE especially when they can do it without having to do that. This day in particular I gave it 4 stars because I ordered a farmers market wrap and it was soooooo delicious. It had eggs, spinach. Onions, peppers, mushrooms and I asked for American cheese on it. Instead of potatoes I got the salad with ranch dressing and their ranch dressing is really good. My husband got his usual eggs over medium, bacon well and a buttered untoasted roll. They didnt put butter on his roll so he said just bring the butter and hell do it. Those are the problems I find with this diner, they dont put butter on yiur roll when you request it because its easier with the butter they have back in the kitchen than the cold packs they give you and you ask for buttered toast and they put very little. Sometimes eggs over medium are not cooked properly, the white part is not fully cooked, yuk. This time my wrap was so good.

If I could of given a zero rating I definitely would have. I ordered three meals from them and they only brought two. I ordered a cheeseburger deluxe, a bacon cheeseburger with onion rings, and two scrambled eggs with bacon and sausage. When the food was delivered it was missing the cheeseburger and french fries. The onion rings were soaked in oil with breading just melting off the onion. The sausage was missing from the scrambled eggs order. When we called to let them know we were greeted by a rude woman. She began to debate with us instead of attempting to rectify the issue. In the end i had to go to the diner to return my food. I paid 35 dollars for a cheeseburger with soggy onion rings and scrambled eggs with bacom. I would neverrrrrrrrrrrrrr order again.

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! placed an order for delivery and was given a wait time of 40 mins... almost 2 hrs later no call or update on my order... when tried calling back just got a busy tone. Went in to physical location to see what was going on.. place did not seem busy at all.. no apology from servers or manager what so ever for order being delayed.. was told my order had just left which I believe was a lie as I heard the cooks in the back repeating what I had ordered as if it had not yet been prepared.. when I demand a full refund since they charged my card immediately, i was kept waiting for another 30 mins!! Terrible experience will never repeat!

I ordered a a cheeseburger it take very long to come once I received it it was undercooked it was literally still bleeding inside it. I ask for onions to be on my meal they literally put a whole onion it wasnt cut it wasnt it was just the nastiest cheeseburger ever had in my life . When I call the manager he was very nice he offer to send me a new meal but at that point my appetite was ruined just due to the presentation of my last meal . Maybe this was a one time thing but I can never order here. People I know have had good meals but I think that before the cook send any food to any it needs to get check I kind of got sick off of raw meat.

From the minute you open the front door, youre greeted with a smile. Everyone is extremely friendly and they make sure you feel at home. If youre looking for a great Diner to grab a burger, sandwich, salad or even a complete dinner, this is the place to go!!! My family and I eat there at least once a week and Im never disappointed. We always try new things on the very extensive menu and without fail they all come out delicious . The servers are always prompt, courteous and respectful. It is a warm atmosphere and youre never rushed out. If you havent gone already you need to go; I promise you wont be disappointed.

The Crosstown diner is simply spectacular. The atmosphere is family amd people friendly. The staff and food is always friendly and great. The biggest secret is their catering service! I have used Crisstown catering for over 5 years for all types of events ! Including baby showers, birthdays, anniversaries, baptism, professional, and Billy has always provided amazing food, service, and is always on time and does not squeeze your budget! Give him a call, you will be pleasantly surprised! This is a family owned business with a high level of integrity and courtesy!

Typical diner fare. Its nice that they are open 24 hrs on the weekends, but the food quality is pretty average. Their burgers are epic win and the best items on a phonebook sized menu. The wait staff is generally pleasant and food is delivered quickly and hot. Thats about it, nothing spectacular except weekend conveniences. The prices are a bit high in my opinion - if Im paying 7 bucks for a burger Id rather be at Shake Shack. But overall its a decent diner. I wish they had wifi. Also, as a general preference, fewer items of higher quality > 10 page booklet.

Who knew? I stoped in to grab a bite here yesterday, was my first time here and I was starving. I dont know what possessed me to order a steak at a diner, but I did. I ordered the skirt steak and it was ridiculously good!! Would never have guessed I can get a steakhouse quality steak at a diner for a diner price. Paid $23 for a meal I enjoyed and fulfilled my apatite. Steak was super tender and was perfectly marinated. Even though Im not from the Bronx , I will definitely making an other pit stop here when Im back in the area.

Every time that were in the city, we always stop by the Crosstown diner. Whether its a salad, or Belgian waflles, or steak and eggs for breakfast with a milkshake and some coffee, we always have a blast! The place has become like home for us. Really just another reminder of one of those things that we REALLY miss about living in the city. If were in the city, and weve got time, Crosstown Diner...ALWAYS got time for some of that! Down to earth people and down to earth food, any way you like it! Aint never anything wrong with that!

I use to always go to this diner and have never had a problem or complaint until today. There was hair in the pickles, pepper in the ice cubes, the "cooked" onions on the patty melt wasnt cooked, the bacon tasted old and rank, the cheese in the omelet wasnt melted, my rye toast wasnt toasted and you needed a microscope to see if had butter. I took my fiance here for breakfast and I couldnt apologize enough to him for the poor quality of the food. What happened Crosstown? If this is the new standard, you have lost a customer.

Came here for lunch with some co-workers. I havent been here in a couple of years and I was told that management has changed. First positive is that the lunch menu is great and you get a good portion of food for $10 (soup/salad, entree and dessert). I got the turkey blt and it was good nothing special However the biggest negative, the service is slllloooowwww. There were four or us in a half empty diner and it took about 45 min to get the food. Cant imagine what its like if full. But a good lunch spot overall
