First visit here tonight. My fiancé and I came here for dinner tonight. The waitresses and chef were very nice people. They were very welcoming. The place is small, historic and quaint. We didnt order an appetizer but we each were served an appetizer bite that was a tomato stuffed with cheese and (I think) a balsamic vinegar. Very delicious. Then we had warm rolls with what tasted like a garlic and herb infused oil that was very good. We both had the skirt steak with roasted kohlrabi, broccoli rabe and fingerling mashed potatoes with a glacé that was incredibly delicious. The portions werent huge, it was just enough food. My fiancé had the banana split for dessert and I had the vanilla ice cream with some fudge on it. Everything we ate was delicious and we look forward to going back. I believe reservations are required. They also sell locally made products.

I see now why Jim Haureys reputation as a fantastic chef in the Hudson Valley is so well-deserved. Orange County is very lucky to have him in its backyard. Trained in Johnson & Wales culinary school he got his experience in several top flight kitchens and he really shines. The combination of the freshest ingredients and exquisite, subtle recipes always makes a great lunch or dinner. Call ahead because they get busy. The service makes you feel like a family member, even though we come from afar. Its truly better than even home cooking because Jim takes the time to hand pick the freshest beef and organic vegetables from the best local and organic farmers. Try ANY of his entrees or appetizers, you cant pick anything less than outrageously delicious! BYOB until liquor license arrives.

I love the Grange. ...Have eaten here 10+ times and never been disappointed. I love the ambiance,the staff and the food never have let me down.I just wish they would add a pasta dish to the menu. ...as we usually have someone in our party that is craving noodles and the menu is sans pasta. I love the oysters when they are available and could eat like 36 of them! Also a big fan of the egg rolls,and really everything else. You have to call for reservations most times ,but as the saying goes "if you fail to plan ,you plan to fail" Cheers!

I have been to The Grange twice. Its been fantastic both times. You have the good feeling of eating in that sustainable, farm-to-table way combined with pretty presentation and great tasting food. The menu is creative and combines ingredients in a way that is culinary genius. The service staff is friendly and helpful and seem to have a sense of mission. We recently moved from NYC and the snobbiest of foodies there would find this a welcome surprise.

We were given ROYAL TREATMENT, The service was definitely SUPERB! The food was eaten at a pace so that I could savor every flavor and ingredient given. I want to put the Grange on a trailor and drive it back to Virginia with us. Thank you Then we had French pressed coffee and Apple crisp with vanilla scooped ice cream. ALL homemade. Yummy!!

This is a great find! The Grange has become our favorite restaurant and we gladly drive 45 minutes for a great meal. It is refreshing to find a restaurant owner that cares about putting out quality food, utilizing local as well as her own organic farm. We wish it was closer to home because it would definitely be our weekly local place.

This small restaurant...there are only 7 or 8 tables... is one of those wonderful places you happen upon, if youre lucky. What you get is incredibly delicious food, locally sourced; mostly from the nearby "black dirt" region. The menu changes with seasons. Reservations advised.

Great food and atmosphere. Ina quaint house away from the busy area. Only 7 tables so you really need to book it. Corn chowder, fish tacos and hamburger (one of the best Ive had) were all excellent. Fish and chips were ok, needed more seasoning.

My wife and I travel to Warwick once a year, and make it a point to eat here at least twice during our visit. Cozy atmosphere makes the top quality dishes only taste better. Fantastic service. Suggest making reservations, or you may miss out.

Absolutely delightful staff and atmosphere and the food is by far my favorite Ive had anywhere near the surrounding area. Ive been here twice and do not have one complaint. Always wonderful beers and ciders available.

Outstanding! Make reservations. Restaurant is small, cozy, and intimate but the gourmet offerings are simply amazing! Staff is wonderful. Historic building was the former New Milford NY Post Office and country store.
