Was expecting a wonderful country kitchen experience and receuved horrible customer service. Arrived for a late brunch at 11AM with wife and two children and was pleasantly surprised that the parking lot wasnt full. Entered and put our name on the wait list and was told it shouldnt be too long. 1 group of 4 ahead of us so things were looking good. 2 other couples and one group of 3 young men entered and were seated before us. When we asked they said there were no 4 seat tables available. They never asked if we wanted to split our group nor did they try to reconfirm the tables to accommodate a group of four. Very rude when we asked why we could be seated or tables reconfigured. We left and spent our money elsewhere. Very rude local place.

My husband and I have been enjoying breakfast and lunch meals at the Mixing Bowl for over 15 years. The food is always fresh, served timely, but the best part is the warm homie atmosphere the minute you walk in, be known by your first name with most of the staff, some even becoming your friends! Love its history, its "today", looking forward to many more meals/smiles and "howube"! Thank you Kenny and the wonderful staff!!!

The Mixing Bowl is a really good, reasonably priced place to go for breakfast. Their pancakes and french toast are delicious, and the portions are generous. The decor leaves a bit to be desired, but youll forget all about it as soon as your breakfast arrives. Ive had lunch at the Mixing Bowl as well (chicken caesar salad). It was good, but nothing to write home about.

My family of 7 were so pleased to get something to eat after being famished from a 24 hour drive from Orlando. We googled and found this little hole in the wall and we were so happy we came here. We were quickly sat. Inside decor is a bit dated but im glad the food wasnt! The eggs benedict were amazing. And the prices were great. Yummy Breakfast spot for sure!

Been here for breakfast a few times. They do eggs, pancakes and waffles very well. The home fries are great too. The country fried chicken is excellent. Good sized kids menu lets the little ones eat for a few bucks. They also have daily specials which include things like eggs Benedict. Expect to wait 10-20 minutes during peak weekend brunch times.

The Mixing Bowl is a lovely home style restaurant with country decor and the welcoming feel of grammas kitchen. Their breakfasts are wonderful and served all day. Their waitstaff is friendly and loving. If your in vernon and need a place for brunch I strongly suggest The Mixing Bowl. :]

If youre in the area dont forget to stop by this place for breakfast. Service is great, atmosphere is colorful and bright. This place serves diner style breakfast, price is reasonable. I would recommend this place over your hotel restaurant or any chain food place

This place charges extra for things like whipped cream on waffles, or lettuce and tomato on sandwiches. $1.65 for whipped cream. BYO whipped cream, seriously. Food was decent, service was acceptable, prices were beyond stupid for what you get.

Had wedding rehersal dinner here. Beautiful decor, excellent wine, tasty food especially salad, very good wait staff. Only issue was that it was very warm inside so air conditioning could have been stronger. Would recommend to others.

Used google maps to find this place. Went for breakfast and then went again for lunch next day. Cozy historical place. Great pancakes and omelettes - especially with chili.
