They have very bad service and their food is expensive even though their food is disgusting, And also I went to go through their drive through I want to get my wallet out of the drivers seat and I went to the drive through They told me to wait a minute to take my order I wanted 10 minutes and still no anwser so my mom who was driving went inside to order and I went to check my watch to see my steps then I saw it wasnt connected Wich meant I dropped it somewhere so I called the store I was at previously they didnt have it then my mom reminded me that I had my phone in the car with me after we left the store and I made a phone call then my brother reminded me that since my mom also had an iPhone I could use find my phone so it showed that it was still in the sonics area and if my phone was in the car my watch would be connected to my phone so then I went inside to go see if they had it then they said "we dont know where your phone is so then I went and checked the only place I couldve dropped it it wasnt there so I went inside again and talked to the manager so they could help us then we didnt find it so then I was going to call the police then I looked on my moms phone and I saw that showed my iPhone was moving somewhere so my mom went out and ran around back to see that my phone was layer down on the rocks Wich was no where near where I could of dropped it Wich means that one of their workers had it and went and dropped it outside the employee back door. So in short they are liars who are very untruthful and only denied that they had it to then when I said I was going to call the police they went and dropped it outside the employee back door.

Other than the food that honestly is only decent to begin with, every thing else about this Sonic is terrible. On one occasion I pull into the drive-thru and ask to do 2 orders. The girl on the speaker tells me I have to pull into the drive-in to do 2 separate orders. I pull into the drive in and place my orders, a few minutes later this kid comes out with our food, walks up to the window and the first words that come out of his mouth are "Yall got me f**ked up with these 2 orders." Safe to say professionalism isnt an expectation. He was clearly confused as to how this process was going to work. He came back out again with another guy who actually was polite and helped him process the payment for our order. A few days later I arrive and pull into the drive-in instead of the drive-thru (like I was told to before) to once again do 2 separate orders and the girl on the speaker tells me that I cant place two orders in the drive-in, that I have to come inside. I explain to her that I was just here and was told to come to the drive-in and was able to place the orders. She proceeds to tell me word for word "Well whoever told you that doesnt know what theyre talking about". Instantly I hear clearly on the loud speaker somebody interrupts her and you can hear her say "oh. They can do that? Well then how do you do two orders?" She starts laughing then finally asks me what I would like to order. Clearly she was the one who didnt know what she was talking about. I would much rather take the 15 minute trip to Mattydale and get my food from that Sonic than come to the Erie Blvd location thats only 5 minutes from me.

When we arrived at the drive in, it took us 20 minutes for them to even answer the request to order; when we finally did get an answer, the employee was not that intelligent, and was rude. "Hold on a second!" "Slow down pleaseeh!" Just as a side note, the music was not fun or exciting, not even pleasant. Afterwards, we ordered. Within 10 seconds we saw a employee come out of the building, and collapse onto the floor ( carrying a massive load of food), and then cursed. I asked him if he was alright, and he said in an angered voice: "Yeah Im fine!" We then had to wait at least 60 minutes for our food to come out, when we did receive it, the quality was very low. The fries were absolutely dreadful, not salted, and we didnt receive salt nor were we asked if we wanted any. The pretzel dog was okay, the grilled onions were great! The bun was actually pretty cold though, as if It was fresh out of a fridge, not hard, but soft and cold. The hot dog was very nice, tasted like it was straight from a ball park. Finally, the cost. To begin with, the idiot that was charging us tried to scam my friends money. How? Well, we made sure to keep the meal under 20$ (which was nearly impossible) The "waiter" as he called himself, told us our total. it was 21.74. we gave him exactly 20 dollars with a 5 dollar bill. He took about 3 minutes to get this done by the way, and when he did: He gave us 1.26 in change. He tried to keep our 2 dollars! Not only that, but he put it in his shirt pocket! not in his actual dollar pocket. Absolutely asinine!

Absolutely terrible customer service. Sonic is just one of those restaurants where you know its going to be a little on the slow side but this Sonic takes it to a new level. Ordered food at 8:35 and didnt receive it until 9:04. It wasnt even busy when we ordered. There was one family, and my friend who ordered ahead of me. Nobody else was in the restaurant at the time. Took forever for the family to receive their meal, my friend only ordered a small order of hash browns and a soda yet she nearly waited 30 minutes, and I had a number 12, so I was astonished that it took that long for such simple orders. Most of the staff was rude and had a know it all sort of attitude with the exception of the young man working the register who was very helpful and trying his best. Ive eaten at that sonic twice before this incident and its always slow with so so quality of service but after this last time there is no way Ill go back. The sonic in Cicero is also slow but I could probably drive there, get my food, and drive back before the Erie blvd sonic would even start preparing my order. Food is good but Id caution you to stay clear unless you have lots of time to waste.

At the drive in, we ordered 5 shakes and a coffee. The shakes were brought out and the coffee was said to be being made. The coffee never came out after 20 minutes. It imho doesnt take 20 minutes to make coffee. We left after the waitress came out with an order for the adjacent customer. She lost her tip and I ended up having a Starbucks cappuccino on her intended tip. Bad customer service! I usually post only positive reviews about my visits to places, however this instance seemed necessary to be addressed.

Love the food and the drinks. Definitely the most extensive list of drink options out of any place in the area. Staff is very friendly and efficient. Even if the line looks very long dont fret because they move quickly. You can also go to one of the parking spots to order from a menu board and they will bring it to your car. This will take a little longer for you to get your food, but is a great option if you dont know what you want.
