Beautiful, quaint atmosphere. Outdoor seating with friendly people. The coffee was good--pleasant surprise actually. Fresh, locally roasted beans. They did have a selection of pastry but we did not have any. Curious observation: they had numerous old pictures of a hotel. Evidently is was nearby this location. I asked the barista about it and she looked at me with bewilderment. Based on the wall space it seemed like it was supposed to be important. Maybe not. (We frequently drive around the country, refusing to buy coffee at chains while searching for locally-owned, hardworking, small businesses who are chasing their dreams and making good coffee.)

Artisan captures the true feeling of a community cafe. I was really impressed by the atmosphere of the cafe itself and the fact that they have local artists work on display (bought a pair of beautiful ceramic cups). This place is such a change of pace from the busyness of Henrietta and the rest of Rochester and is well worth the short, scenic drive down. RIT Students, you need to check this place out, its a, "beat the campus blues" type of place and is set in the heart of historic Scottsville. The fact the cafe used to be an old gas station from the 1950s is pretty cool too! I think I may of found my new favorite secret getaway place. = )

The coffee here is fine, mediocre. The decor and atmosphere are quite nice. It lives up to the small coffee house vibe. The service is the opposite what you would expect from a coffee stop. Slow, tedious, unfriendly at best, cranky at times. I have not tried the food since each time I am there I see a customer waiting an unreasonable amount of time for a panini. While a cookie is just a cookie here, Ill continue to frequent Artisan Coffee house since coffee is air and its within walking distance of my house.

My first time here, the coffee and cafe offers the usual fare in a converted bank. 2 small seating areas, prices are comparable. I had a smoothie and it was very good. If you are looking for an evening cup of tea or desert, it is not going to be here. They close early, and that is a bit of a disappointment. I understand the owner collaborates with the owner of Salvatores across the street for live music and community events.

A fantastic little cafe that I happened to stumble upon after visiting the bank nearby. Love the friendly and artsy vibe. Like someone else mentioned, the local community flair to it is quite the welcome sight, especially after visiting the busier and hipster-attracted cafes of downtown. Take the short drive and give their delicious sandwiches and lattes a try. You wont regret it!

This small local coffee shop is okay if you can catch a single car in the parking lot, any more and you can expect a considerable wait. The coffee is decent as are the breakfast sandwiches, adequate seating for groups and individuals. Unfortunately sitting around waiting for everything runs counter to the quick bite coffee shop vibe of the place.

Great place to go to on Friday or Saturday night for live local musicians. They have wonderful paninni sandwiches and awesome desserts. Go for a sandwich coffee and dessert. Its a small place so the seating is limited but the atmosphere makes up for it.The staff are freindly.

Great little coffee shop in Scottsville, though the hours can be frustrating. Salads and sandwiches are great, as well as the coffee drinks. They also have local photography, art, and handmade goods for sale there.
