1st time customer. Stopped in with my wife and son and had read good reviews of the establishment. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately that was the good part. I had the Piedmont Blue Roast Beef sandwich on Focaccia. Supposed to have a bleu cheese spread and I honestly couldnt tell if there was any on the sandwich because the bread was so under cooked and chewy. Dont think they baked it long enough in the oven, came out looking white vs with a Golden Crust. As to the Roast Beef, you know when your teenager asked if it was pressed meat because you couldnt tell if they were slices, had no flavor or texture. The other sandwiches we ordered, Old Town Chicken Salad on Honey Whole Wheat and a Ham and Swiss were just so-so. For the prices that they charge, I definitely expected it to be better than it was. Definitely will not be back.

What a fantastic customer experience!!! The friendliness and attentiveness of the staff is out of this world!! We stopped by today 2/24 in the afternoon and the young female brunette and young male who were serving the customers were so caring - it was as if they were running the place like they owned it - who could ask for better service! I havent experienced service like that is so long, it reminded me of service in 4 and 5 star restaurants in France. Not to mention the bread is crazy good too. Kudos to the owners and managers, you must know how to find, train and motivate awesome staff! I dont usually write reviews online, but just felt compelled to somehow get the word back to the managers and owners.

I have been coming here off and on since this place first opened. I love the food and the staff. I remember when I pushed my twins in their stroller there, staff would always open the door for me when they saw me coming. So appreciative. The icing on the cake for me was just the other day when I witnessed staff giving hot chocolate and bread to a homeless man passing by. My biggest regret was not taking a picture of this beautiful, sweet, random act of kindness. They have my business for life.

Stopped by Warrenton looking for lunch after hiking in Shenandoah. Found this great bakery in the middle of a town fair on Main St. Friendly, polite staff...huge and freely offered samples...delicious artisan breads. Ordered sandwiches and the service was a bit slow, but they were quite busy. If youre in the area, you must visit. Try the pumpkin and chocolate chip muffin. Sounds, odd...but the flavors compliment each other perfectly.

The owner and staff were really friendly and the customer service was awesome. During Easter weekend, the owner let us in even though the bakery was already closed. He provided us with bread and cookies with no charge since it was our first time visiting the bakery. My daughter and I really enjoyed the bread and cookies. It was great! We even told the manager at Poplar Springs resort to recommend this very friendly place.

Great Harvest is always my top choice. I love the wide variety, the friendly staff, and the relaxing atmosphere. Its small but there is plenty of seating. They have such a wide range of food. Good for a muffin and coffee or a whole meal. Great place for gifts, especially for those who have everything or are notoriously hard to shop for. My daughter loves their cinnamon twists and that they have books in there for her to read.

The bread samples are amazing. I tried a cobbler bread the other day and it was like eating a bite of berry pie in bread form. The only reason I didnt give 5 stars is because the prices are steep for what you get. I feel like the sandwich prices should be lower by a couple dollars than what they are. If you buy 2 sandwich meal deals you are out close to $30, which is high for lunch fare.

The staff is very friendly and accommodating, and the bread is terrific. I work during the day until the early afternoon, and the situation I run into is that they tend to run out of specialty breads too often, even if you stop in two to three hours before they close. I think maybe Dakota should be an "everyday bread" too. All said and done, I highly recommend stopping in.

Usually I would give this place 5 stars! I get a BLT maybe a couple times a month. usually its huge and wonderful and worth the price of $6+ but today I think there was 2 pieces of bacon a sad looking lettuce and a slice of tomato. Ive very disappointed with this. They werent even that busy today. Kinda upset I used my cheat day on this.

If you want fresh bread with fantastic and crazy flavor options GO HERE. Yes the prices are higher than you will pay at your local big box grocery store, but ypu ate talking about two totally different products. The service is awesome and friendly and the quality level of the products is unparalleled.

Great, I works down the street and have ate here a few times now. I normally get a sandwich and buy a loaf of bread. Their bread is great, they grind the wheat fresh everyday and bake the bread with the fresh ground wheat. a little pricey, but well worth it. Those ingredients are expensive.!

Offer a great selection of breads and the samples are huge. This is definitely the place to go. A tad bit on the expensive side but it is well worth the price. The employees are very helpful and everyone really seems to love working there. Highly recommend!

What an AWESOME shop in downtown Warrenton, VA!! Their honey wheat bread is the best around! I recommend this shop all the time to family, friends, and co-workers. In my opinion, Great Harvest Bread Co is a "must-see" attraction for anyone in Warrenton!

Great bakery, they have a wonderful array of breads and pastries here. Im a fan of their cinnamon swirl bread. They mill their own wheat in the back so the gluten content is lower and the flavor of all of the products tastes particularly fresh.

Great vibe as soon as you walk in the door. The customer service is fantastic. They give you free samples while you wait. Good wholesome food. There should be more places like this. Forget Panara bread, this is way better.

The staff is as amazing as the food, always equipped with a smile and a great recommendation! Our favorites are the California Cob and the Piedmont Blue! Even during busy times of the day the food is quickly served!

My Oh My! Delicious options! Friendly service! Who could ask for anything more. I didnt, but they offered. Who lets you taste the options before you buy?! Great Harvest Bread Co. does! Keep up the great work!
