Went here for lunch around 11:30 on a Tuesday morning. The place was empty besides the employees. We were told to take a seat, and that somebody would be with us shortly. The service was prompt, friendly and on point. I ordered the beer braised bratwurst, and my girlfriend ordered the chicken BLT sandwich. I ordered a beer from their extensive draft list, followed by another one shortly thereafter. I was thrilled to see they carried a beer from one of my favorite brewers on tap: Frou Frou from Grimm Artisanal Ales. The food arrived quickly and was good. Portion sizes were adequate but not huge. The food on the menu is limited to basically sandwiches and pizza, with a few appetizer type plates. They could stand to increase their menu size to offer burgers and maybe a few entrees. The beer selection here is OUTSTANDING with 50 beers on tap, and several hundred beers in bottles. The price of the beers is kind of steep compared to some places, though the selection is second to none. Our server was more than courteous, and taking notice of my love and interest for beer, brought out a few samples to try while waiting for our food. I would definitely stop here again for lunch.

This was our first time at the beer market, which the first server had asked and told us to let him know if we had any questions, the next server that took over came and took our order, I tried asking him about a specialty beer and he told me he has never tried it, no offer of an explanation of the beer or let me find more out about that beer, when I asked for a suggestion because I dont drink a lot of beer he just recommended a hard cider that I could purchase at any restaurant rather than making an effort. I decided to try the specialty beer anyway since I came to the beer market to try something new, when he can over and poured it in front of me I only got about 2/3 of the can because he left such a large head onto the beer and just tossed the rest out. Thankfully what saved the visit is the food being so good, but honestly dont know how worth it, it is to pay $8 for a beer that wasnt poured right and the server made no attempts to actually give us a good experience.

We were looking for a nice atmosphere with maybe a good burger. What we got was a great little bar/restaurant that had an open concept to the outside with amazing food (sorry no burgers lol). I had what was essentially a meatball sub that was hands down the best I have ever had. The wait staff was fun and amazing. When it started getting windy they didnt wait for a customer to say something they just closed the side up that blocked the wind. If you are near there ..... Go!!!! When I return to Rochester I know one place that will make the agenda. If you are a beer nut this is also your place with 43 pages to choose from! Whaaaaaat??? Just Go!

Extensive selection of beers on tap - you are guaranteed to find something to suit your palate. Excellent food! Their pizza is great! They have several creative ensembles with a thick, crunchy crust and delectable toppings. Their Barbarian pretzel with cheese sauce and mustard for dipping is a definite crowd pleaser. Their arti-goat dip (artichoke and goat cheese) on crunchy, buttery toasted bread you wont be able to get enough of. They must have some excellent chefs in the kitchen because their menu options are delicious!

A really great place to try a lot of different beers. They rotate the 2 page draft list weekly so every time you go there you have a different new beer to try. Their beer menu features a ton of different bottled beers as well. The food consists of bar style food with thick crust handmade pizzas, and large pretzels you cant go wrong. The outdoor seating wraps around the front and side, unfortunately they are building a CVS next door so some of the open windows are closed due the dust from the construction.

Friendly staff, nice atmosphere. I prefer the outside seating by the fire pit because if you choose a bad seat on the inside youll be right under a speaker and will have to yell to talk to the people in your party. Sometimes when I have gone a staff member came over to our table to take orders, but last time we had to go to the bar - not sure exactly which way it is supposed to be. Definitely more expensive than buying a 6-pack at Wegmans but the location is so convenient that I wont complain.

Great variety that barely outweighs the lack of knowledge out of the tenders/servers. I figured they would try to hire beernutz to staff it but it turns out to be a typical bar. They are getting better and some of the servers are great but Id like to see more attention to that. Probably second to Tap and Mallet locally. Prices are on the high to too high side. Either they have a rent thats too damn high or the owners are greedy. Well see how they do over their second winter here.

Pretzel is wonderful. I have been here twice in recent weeks. Friday at noon, one server on staff. She was kind but the service was slow. Tonight, a Wednesday at 7pm.. I guess its trivia night and its very busy but the staff is not plentiful enough. Food is good, servers are kind but it seems they have staffing issues or piss poor management who is under staffing. Either way, I probably wont be back becaus the food isnt good enough to outweigh the lack of service and high prices.

The food was outstanding. The pretzel off the beer bites menu was the best pretzel Ive ever eaten. I was DD so no beer for me but my friends enjoyed theirs. The atmosphere was friendly and lively. Our server was friendly but somewhat absent during our meal. There was a bit of a draft throughout my visit so I found myself sitting on my hands to try and keep them warmer. All in all, I would go back anytime.

decent atmosphere, very cold in there though! probably because the ceilings are so high. There was a drunk dude wandering about talking to people which was kind of off-putting. Awesome beer selection (obv) & the service was great! I wouldnt recommend their pizza though, or at least their veggie pizza. I got "The Californian" and it was 80% sauce. Barely any veggies and cheese...not my kind of pizza.

Lots of different beer. Pizza and giant pretzel amazimg. Food prices are very reasonable. The beer is expensive bar is not that nice to justify. Paid 5.75 for blue light 12 oz can. Understand its more craft beer scene and have drs and nurses but not all health care workers want high priced drinks. Some cheaper domestic drafts would be appreciated. Servers were knowledgeable and excellent.
