If for no other reason at all, the food here is so amazing. Its authentic, delicious, and decently priced; what more can you ask for? Well, the customer service is also pretty great. The staff is friendly and even during busy hours, service is consistently quick. The only potential draw back, and I say potential because I have yet to encounter this, is that the dining room itself is fairly small. If you have a bigger party I would definitely call ahead and usually they will hold a table for you if youre on the way. I would 210% recommend SEA to anyone, and its one of the restaurants I always look forward to visiting when I am in Rochester to see family. Tips: definitely get the fried calamari as an appetizer, its so good!! My favorite dishes here consist of the seafood pho, bun house vermicelli, and pad thai. But you really cant go wrong with anything on the menu.

Love the pho here. It is quite small but they are always very friendly and helpful and efficient. Prices are very reasonable and the pho is huge...if you have never had it its a Vietnamese soup that is so flavorful...we always add the steamed veggies and if you like leftovers go for the big bowl for an extra$1...we always have some to take home regardless. The shrimp salad is interesting and yum. My husband likes the crispy noodle dish. If you are lucky to find the rice custard for dessert...go for it, super yum! You cant beat the bang for your buck...and the food is interesting, fresh and delicious!

Excellent serving sizes. Theres nothing better than their crunchy noodles. Perfectly flavored and such wonderfully complimenting textures. They have a salty drink--dont get it. All the rest of their beverages are delicious, and are made with fruits youve probably never heard of before. If you want to be a bit adventurous definitely go here. If youve got a date and you want to feel cozy definitely go here. If you want to feel filled and satisfied for pennies definitely go here. I just wish it were a little bigger so I could go alone and not feel like Im taking up space. Alas. Love it!

I enjoyed the pho (though Ive had better meatballs elsewhere), the staff are nice and the prices are reasonable. My daughter also really liked the mango smoothy. However, we werent impressed with the teriyaki chicken starter, my wife didnt like her chicken and broccoli (bland), and my daughter didnt like the special fried rice (too sweet). The food also took a lot longer to come out than Id expected (based on similar places and the fact that it wasnt that busy).

the pho special was so TASTY! a good amount of meat! got a large and wished we got a regular because we were stuffed but ate the rest because we didnt want the deliciousness to go to waste~ ive had pho in philadelphia (pa), toronto (canada), dallas (tx), boston (ma) so i was scared that this place wasnt gonna compare to the restaurants in the bigger cities... but it definitely was a pleasant surprise!! loved it. will be a returning customer-- PHO SHO!

Great Photos. Can be crowded and have a wait. Also if you are solo, likely to not get as good service when busy, and get rushed or have takeout highly encouraged. All that said, one of the 2 best bowls of pho Im the city, and only thing I want when I am sick with cold. So good, I would still get the pho even if they were rude ( not so far) bit and d just call ahead for takeout. Not many places where food is that good and inexpensive.

Its sometimes hard to find vegan/vegitarian options out in the wild so I end up going to a TON of Asian/Thia restaurants on the road. Im not going to claim to be any kind of expert, but I know a place is good pretty quickly. Sea is one of those places. The dishes were clean, and full of flavor. There is a personal stamp on each of the dishes, a little interesting and totally delicious.

SEA is cute little place on Manroe Ave, with some delicious food. The fried calamari is divine and a definitely worth a visit just for that! They can be a little a slow with service when theyre full but a small sacrifice for some good food. (Also, it is very satisfying to mix the condensed milk in the thai iced tea with a straw- great Instagram boomerang)

Their Pho soup is to die for! For those that have never had a Pho soup. Its literally a meal in and of itself! The flavor explosion in your mouth is an understatement, as a true Pho has a complexity of different flavors that you can individually taste. They most definitely know how to make a Pho which is rather complex to make perfectly. Outstanding!

the staff is very friendly and the food is good too. this is not a fancy date night spot. it is however, great for a small gathering of friends for lunch. the food was ready quickly which is good because it isnt a huge place. i enjoyed the squid appetizer and the beef with rice dish (i added fried eggs, not disappointed)

This place had delicious tofu Pad Thai for lunch. The prices were more than fair and our server was very friendly. We got there right when we opened and they were set and ready to go. I have to say, their bathroom needs some serious updating and Improvement. Other than that fantastic place for lunch.

Slow service?...not very good?...ignore these other reviews. I have been getting food from Sea once a week for 5 years or so and they have been delivering consistent high quality service and cuisine the entire time. I have yet to have a bad experience, or wait more than 15 minutes for service.

I agree with another reviewer - Flavors of Asia offers a much better pho and a bigger portion (at a slightly higher price, but its worth it). I had been eager to try SEA and compare to FoA for awhile and FoA is superior by far. Their spring rolls are also much better too.

"What the pho!" 5 star for broth! Really tasty probably the tastiest Ive had. 2 star for the meat, it was super fatty, had like cartilage in it and was essentially table scraps swept into the container that Im not picking through...they barely gave me any rare steak.

Great prices for what you get. Not the best pho Ive ever had but hits the spot when withdrawals kick in. Great Thai ice tea. Despite the 2005 pop Pandora station playing Big Girls Dont Cry several times the aesthetic is intimate and very date night appropriate.

I have brought many out of town guests to SEA and they all agree, its the best Phõ theyve had anywhere. The extra large is a great value for only a dollar more. It can get full at peak hours, but be patient because you wont be leaving hungry or disappointed!

If you go during the dinner rush on a cold day, expect to be waiting for a table. Its worth it though, their pho is the best that Ive had in the city. Throw in a couple of fresh spring rolls as an appetizer and youll have yourself a great dinner!

I love the pho here. It is tasty, filling and not expensive. Take out or eat in both are enjoyable. During meal hours you can have a wait for a table as it is a SMALL place. Worth the wait. Only down side is they are no longer open on Sundays.
