Used to love this place the last two times i ordered it was horrible they didnt get me what i order,delivery took an hour and a half and since the restaurant was closed by the time i got my food i could not call to have them fix it.Thats not he worst part my food was not all there it looked tampered with so i didnt touch it the next day i took it back and the guy was a jerk to me.He said somebody ate out of this and i said yeah thats why im bringing it back. Despite the horrible service and attitude the reason i decided to never order from them again had nothing to do with service or attitude,when i walked in to this place there were BIRDS YES BIRDS FLYING AROUND THE RESTAURANT!!!!!! NEVER EVE AGAIN WILL I ORDER FRON NEW NUMBER ONE. Yummy garden is awsome and CLEAN!

Small place,lil run down and when I was there, not very clean. Food was average with average prices. Had delivery 3 times and went the last time to pickup my food and well, I will not order from there again. Delivery boy was cooking my food until hes screwed up. Anyway General Tso chicken turned into General Too Over Cooked and no where near taste wise to actual flavor of GenTso. Would say more but I really dont want to spend another minute on or in the place. SORRY, not trying to be mean, just honest.

I usually order from this place at least twice a month. Whenever I order the person who takes the orders gives different prices every time. One time $16.01, second $17.01, and recently, $17.66. It doesnt make sense... inflation? I dont make much money so I cant afford these price changes every time. Also they say on their website, they say there is free delivery, but they always charge $2.00. I called them and they said we charge $2.00 on every order, and I only live 0.7 miles away from them.

we just moved here and was looking for a good place to buy chinese food someone told us about new number one chinese restaurant so we went there the food wasn"t that good the service wasn"t that friendly and they give you like 3 packets of duck and soy for food that can feed 10 how cheap is that well like i said we just moved here but we will keep seacrching for a good restaurant maybe to some people like the person who told me about this place the food is good but not for us it wasnt

Im really disapponited with this service because I ordered two times on one day. The deliverer didnt appear at time. Their website really suck because I still had no idea when the delivery would be serve so I had to tell them that I want it to be done by time I established. I was really starving at that time. I cant make my account gone at the website! Life would be better if I order the Dominos Pizza! The website is terrific! Im sure I like to do that! :D

In my opinion, best chinese food in Rochester. People keep complaining it takes an hour to deliver, I have no idea since I always pick up and its always ready in ~20 minutes. Everyone at the register and answering the phone speaks English very well. I always to their online ordering because I can see the entire menu, find any specials, be clear with what I want, and you get a 10% discount. That makes this not only the best food but also the most economical.

From eating at a lot of different restaurants around Rochester this by far is THE BEST Chinese food in the county...theyre a young new addition to Rochester they still ironing out kinks but me and my friends have ordered 5 times all with in an hour and being a chef their cooks are spot on money with they way they cook their food good job folks keep up the good food

I used to love this place, and the food and service used to be good, but in the past 6 months its become terrible. Its taken 2+ hours several times now to deliver food and they apparently just gave up on delivering an order. There are better places to go than here so take your business elsewhere as customer service clearly isnt their priority.

I ordered from here once, took them an hour and a half to finally deliver food. Another time I ordered, I waited 2 hours for the food to arrive and it never came. I had to call them and ask them where the food was and they said "they forgot to call to tell us that they dont deliver to this area." Uhh, thanks. Their food is pretty good though.

Ive been eating from here for 6 years. The same family is still running the place. While I agree they may not have the most attentive customer service, I dont really mind much - its takeout. I call, place my order, and show up 15 minutes later to pick it up - its always hot, ready to go, and cheap. And best of all, it tastes great.

Ive eaten from many different Chinese restaurants in Rochester, but this one definitely has the best food. Their customer service is horrible, but whatever... its takeout. They deliver pretty fast as well. If you want good food and fast delivery, order from New Number One... if youre not easily offended by rudeness over the phone.

The service was poor. It took two hours for the food to be delivered and I live 10 minutes away from the restaurant. In addition they forgot part of the order which didnt end up getting delivered for another hour. As for the food quality, it is on the poor side for a Chinese food place. I would definitely recommend not going here.

The portion sizes are huge (I payed 9.99 for a sesame chicken for one person). Also, this is literally the greatest sesame chicken Ive ever had. I eat Chinese all the time, and there is nothing better than this right here. Its so good that I had to go online to review it, because its that freaking good.

I ordered delivery from New Number One and it was good. I was a little worried about delivery times based on the other reviews so I called in my order and didnt use the online form. The delivery was fast ( < 30 minutes) and the food was still nice and hot. I wouldnt hesitate ordering from them again.

We ordered our food from new number one recently and it was large portions,cheap and good. We ordered on a Friday night when it had to be busy, They woman on the phone said it would take an hour or so, 35 minutes later the doorbell rang. Piping hot still.

Food was terrible. I dont know if it was just a bad day but the rice was all dried out and the vegetables in the lo mein were actually rotten. Definitely the worst Chinese food I have ever had. Also the service was very slow.

Waited an hour & a half for delivery that i was told would be 30 minutes . The food was cold like it had been riding around in the car since it was made then the delivery guy DEMANDED a tip .

Ordered online, IT HAS BEEN TWO GOD DAMN HOURS AND NOTHING. This is not the first time but certainly a new record! Last time it took 70 minutes. It is not worth the wait.
