Hands down the worst restaurant experience Ive ever had. We sat down in the outdoor courtyard, without realizing that the tables were supposed to be for groups of 5 or more. The waiter made us aware of the fact, but then kindly said just to keep it in mind for next time and allowed us to stay, then took our orders for drinks and food. As our food was being prepared, the owner came over and told us that the outdoor area was for groups of 5 or more only, and that we would have to wait for a smaller table to become available inside (even though there were 3+ available tables surrounding us outside). When I told him that the waiter who had taken our order had already told us that is was OK for us to stay at the table, and that we would happily share the table with another smaller group, he flat out told us to leave the premises. I honestly cant believe that the owner of a restaurant would be willing to throw paying customers out of his own restaurant, just because they had sat at a table that was supposed to be for groups of 5 or more (even though there were plenty of other tables available). Never in my life have I been treated with such disrespect, and by a restaurant owner of all people. My husband and I will obviously never be going back to a place that treats its customers so awfully.

Tantalizing taste sensation that will keep you coming back for more! Another hidden gem in our historic Hudson Rivertown of Peekskill located along the waterfront. From the amazing appetizers - comforting chicken soup for your soul, fresh made tortilla chips with incredible accompaniments from Lanza Farm goat cheese with jalapeño jelly to black bean chili con carne & Mexican crema along with crispy calamari to hands down the tastiest tacos in the Hudson Valley - mouth-watering pork belly, succulent pulled pork, divine brisket & savory shrimp. Dont forget to come back for a heavenly brunch of pleasing pancakes served with local maple syrup & yummy butter & local enjoyable eggs. You will definitely dive into dining here!

Always love coming here, but avoid on saturdays. The staff was very unprofessional and obviously cant handle the pressure of a full resturant. Tried to get take out and was told that takeout wasnt available at the time. Then tried to dine in, and was told there was an hour wait, despite there being only 4 other people waiting outside, and about 8 tables (two 4-seaters and 6 outdoor 2-seaters). When we asked if we could just order it, we were told "i dont know what to tell you" and that was it. Obviously nobody there cares about getting buisness. We were planning on getting about $70 worth of food, but forget it, guess the peekskill brewery gets my money instead.

Delicious margaritas, and decent tacos. This place just opened and is still figuring itself out. The waitstaff is incredibly attentive and the drinks are fantastic. I was thrilled by their chips and salsa, because the chips came out hot with just the right amount of crunch and salt-I think I ate my way through three bowls. Their tacos are okay, but only because they havent really honed the flavors yet. All of the meat is cooked perfectly, but each taco could use more attention to particular flavor profiles, like more herbs like cilantro, a citrus brightness, and the porkbelly taco needs a more asian flair.

Its really not worth the hype, but they serve a solid, albeit overpriced taco. Liked the brisket and pork, the chicken was dry. Drinks were well priced and the service was good. Cool location and the building ambiance is great for meeting friends. Unfortunately more often than not Ive been served cold food here, with service thats either completely aloof or overwhelmed. Either way, theres always a wait but never a rush. It pains me to say this about a peekskill product, but I wont be going back.

The location and friendly staff are the only things this place has going for it. Food is nothing special, especially for the price. Youre paying for the view. Also when I ask for some chips at a Mexican place I assume they are free unless told otherwise. After being brought some chips I was offered some guacamole with them, only to find out on the bill this was an extra $9. Should have been mentioned beforehand. I will not be back because of average food at a high price and sneaky charges.

"Trendy place" with "trendy place prices" .. Stopped in for lunch and thought it was a cool place but I left hungry because the tacos were small and decent at best. The guacamole was really pathetic it tased like nothing was added to the avocado! Would have gotten more food but its not worth the price. Ill stick to traditional Mexican food where youre full off a 11 dollar burrito and you have a hard time giving up the chips and salsa.

Food is ok but our waitress did not pay attention to us enough. If Im a waiter/waitress/bar tender and I see all drink glasses empty on the table I make sure I ask if they want another. We had to flag her down several times. Meal is clearly done probably want the check, we had to flag her down again and almost missed the train. Would not return.

Great authentic tacos. Chips, salsa, and guacamole are low salt, yay! Service was great. Overall, a surprise. Its certainly not a dive bar. Tables are a bit small and too close together but we managed. Outdoor seating will be nice next time were there and its not raining. The nice part is the ice cream store next door. What a great evening.

Awesome addition to Peekskill. Food is great and drinks are as well. Love the environment that was created here. So convenient to everything as well. Train is right across the road, ice cream shop, and brewery. Here at least 2 times a week! Must try this place.

I went one afternoon for a quick margarita and taco. Very cool vibe by the (very loud) train tracks. The tacos were solid, but the ambiance of the bar was what made the place great. Perfect for a happy hour with friends.

I come here on bike and usually with a group after a 50+ mile ride. They always take care of us and help watch over our bikes outside. We can be a disruptive bunch, but they always welcome our business.

Service can sometimes be a bit spotty but they have improved greatly in the past year. They do make tasty and inexpensive Mexican food. And theres a stellar ice cream spot next door.

The food was good; I had the breakfast burrito (part of the weekend brunch menu). Loses a star for getting my order wrong and needing to redo it (but they redid it very quickly).

This was a delicious, non-traditional take on Mexican cuisine. I wish I had received more mahi mahi in the dish I ordered but what I did get was very tasty.

Fabulous place. Super tasty food. Everything is gluten free but the place doesnt male it a big deal. Great location, all tables have a view of the river.

The drinks were inventive and refreshing. The food was simply fare with complex undertones. Overall definitely worth a trip.

The tacos really should be better. Ive been here three times. Not going back. My last fish tacos were miserable. Sad.
