The salmon burger i had was excellent and had good tartar sauce with high quality tomato which is hard to find this time of the year. i was there with family friends and my brother and his wife. My sister in law had a salad with crab cake salad that was excellent. The other people in my party were similarly impressed. If i were to describe to my friends in the DC area I would say it is comparable to Franklins in Hyattsville, MD without the noise. Franklins is a special place to me besides the CIA quality food it has a very friendly staff and it is the last place my late wife and i eat before she died. To have such a nice friendly eating place with good value for the money is a real treasure. I had been to this cafe several years ago and it was very good then it has improved to be aan excellent family cafe.

This is a place to visit once. It is very quaint and the service is good but the value is poor. For $32 I ordered three lobster salad sliders. Of course that seemed high for three small sandwiches but how could any establishment without embarrassment serve just 3 small sandwiches for that price. I expected a sandwich with at least an inch filling. Nothing could be further from the truth. It was three tiny sandwiches with a quarter inch filling of salad. The wine and beer were good but I wouldnt return for that. The food was a rip off. This is Garrison, NY not Manhattan.

This place is a cute little stop conveniently close to several great hiking areas. It can be useful to know that you order at the counter and then a staff member brings your food to your table. My sandwich was a great portion for the price. My fries were a little soggy, but thats my only complaint. The staff was friendly and helpful, and its a nice touch that they have wifi. Ive never been here in the evening, but they have a small bar area that looks like a cozy place to have a beer or a glass of wine.

Stumbled into this gem after hiking Arden Point and Glenclyfe off of the Metro North. We immediately felt underdressed after a day of hiking, but the owners still welcomed us in. Great wine/beer selection, and the food was incredible. Whatever the head chef is getting paid, should be getting more. Would happily make the trip just to return to this restaurant, and will definitely refer our friends.

What a great place in such a tucked-away location! High quality, fresh ingredients, beer and wine, and very friendly service. Quick for travelers or nice to hang out in if youre around for awhile. Hint; even if you get a sandwich thats not a panini, ask them to heat it--the bread just comes alive with crispy goodness!

We saw moldy sandwiches in the prepared sandwich rack, watched an elderly couple eat meals off of napkins because the teenagers working didnt have the decency to give them an extra plate when sharing a meal, and the staff was eating right behind the counter. Disgusting.

The food is beyond subpar, service is non-existent, and the owner has a poor attitude. I guess he can afford to since there is so few food places in the area. The only pro to the place was the outdoor seating and wine bar that isnt open yet.

They have a good selection and cold drinks which feel great after one of the holes in the area. The staff is friendly and helfpul, and they keep the place clean. They also have some pretty delicious ice cream.

The food is consistently delicious and their wine list well curated. We always feel so welcome and have enjoyed every visit. It is a definite stop if you are in the area.

Simple cafe in Garrison offering typical food for lunch and a separate dinner menu. Also one of the only local public restrooms in the area which requires a purchase.

Spacious indoor and outdoor seating. Tasty soup and burritos ( so we were too late for the huevos rancheros). Plus, large and pleasant wheelchair accessible bathroom!

Cozy, freshly prepared meals in 3 sizes: taste, savor and share, very welcoming staff and the best coffee in the Valley. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
