Well the Saturday evening my wife and I went for dinner must of been the Culinary trained chefs night off. Also the Manager must have also taken the night off. First problem I had was when my meal came out of the kitchen not properly cooked. I simply asked for my beef to be cooked "medium". What I received was a practically raw piece of meat. Being nice about the whole thing, I simply asked the waiter to ask the chef to cook my meal as asked. 20 minutes later I received my plate back, untouched and cold. Again, I asked the waiter to return my meal and have it cooked for me. Now all this time, my wifes Mac and Cheese is coagulating in front of her eyes. The waiter more embarrassed than anything else, returned with my meal for the 3rd time after the initial complaint soaked in butter and STILL not cooked to a medium level by anybody"s standards. Even the wait staff and a young hostess agreed. So at the end of the ordeal, I spent 85 dollars for my wifes meal that she did not eat because it became cold, a few glasses of wine and a tip for the waiter, and I still had not eaten, but the did take my entree off the big! I will not be returning there for any meal, any time soon!

Im very disappointed in the experience I had tonight. I have been a long time customer of West Main because I live down the street, but I wont be returning after tonight. I placed an order for pickup and was told it would take 10-15 minutes to prepare. I show up 25 minutes later and when I walked in the greeter looked up at me and then immediately went back to texting on her phone. When I walked up to her, she didnt say hi or have a smile. She finally decided to do her job and got my bill. She first took my money and then told me my food was still not ready. When I asked her why, she had no answer and just gave me a lot of attitude. She then went to her coworker and started talking about me as I waited for my food and then they both started pointing at me and laughing. When I finally got my food, it waa cold and I didnt get extra goat cheese on my salad that I paid an extra $2 for. Very upset

Comfortable environment near the heart of Wappingers with outdoor seating available. The Avocado salad was delicious, though the plating was a bit small and caused some spillage. The homemade cornbread soft and awesome. The house sirloin burger was cooked perfectly as ordered with tasty shredded Gouda. I would probably ask to dial back the seasoning on the fries next time, but I still ate them gladly. The brownie was absolutely amazing; served with (Im assuming) fresh whip cream and caramel drizzle. Great stuff. Will definitely come back!

Every time I eat here I am leaving wanting more! Their creme brulee is amazing. I love that they change it up so its always something new. I love love love love their wagu burger! I honestly love their desserts. Innovative and delicious. I just tried their white chocolate bread pudding and I am obsessed. (And I dont like white chocolate) The staff is very friendly and I love the ambiance. I highly recommend this place. If it wasnt already obvious.

Started out with no parking, and tiny spots when one came available. Cant open your door without hitting your neighbor. Made reservations for a party. Not enough seats and manager refused to add empty table to accomdate standing patrons who were part of the resevation. Made us pay seperate from party with had invitation to attend. Slow service added to diaster. Dont Go here, YOU WILL BE DISAPPOINTED!

Food was the best around. Specialty is root beer short ribs. Get them or the short rib grilled cheese. Service wasnt the greatest. Took about ten minutes after seated for waiter to come. Also water wasnt filled enough. Most people are willing to wait about an hour for a seat this place is that good.

Gourmet food and a creative menu like west main has does not exist in this area. Never had a bad meal and Ive tried several things. This place has a great ambiance and the service will keep you coming back. If you havent been here...go! You wont regret it

Great Place! Food is phenomenally Delicious! Wait staff are friendly and accommodating to your every need. Patrons were all having a great time. We left with a full stomach and great memories! Got to give it a try, you definitely wont be disappointed!

The food is AMAZING as are the drinks. They are a little pricy considering location and parking can be a serious pain on a busy night. Id suggest calling ahead to see if there is a wait on weekends. But I keep going back so clearly its worth it!

I always enjoy my food here. My personal favorite is the roasted vegetable sandwich with the goat cheese. They have a great wine selection too. The only downfall is the hours. Definitely check before you go to make sure theyre going to be open.

A great place to go and eat on the spur of the moment when you want something tasty and close to home. Its a little off the beaten path but its worth getting off the overcrowded Route 9 to check this place out.
