Food and Service were outstanding, Decor and Ambiance could use a little improvement. I recently enjoyed an excellent night out with my wife at Spinnakers and was pleasantly surprised by the creativity of the menu, the quality and presentation of the dishes, and the service. Dan was our server, and we couldnt have been happier with his friendliness, attentiveness, and professionalism. We sampled a few of the small plates, the grilled octopus over tahini, crab and avocado salad, and the beet salad with goat cheese. All three were exquisite - sweet lump crab, healthy portion of avocado, octopus grilled perfectly, and a variety of beets with tasty goat cheese and micro greens. The live music at the bar was enjoyable, however the drink selection was a bit lacking. Few choices for an after dinner drink. I hope the culinary prowess leads to success for this great new addition to the Oyster Bay restaurant scene, and the small improvements can be done to really let it shine!

This is a new spot in town and my bestfriend and I decided to check it out for Sunday brunch during memorial weekend (they barely had anyone in there). The prices are very reasonable and the food is good. The portion are pretty good too! They have bottomless brunch drinks for $15.. which was great. Our server (young girl with glasses - I think, I dont remember her name) was amazing!!! They have 2-3 outdoor tables (in the front of the restaurant) and thats where we wanted to sit. The staff was more than happy to serve us out there. There is only one womens bathroom but its huge and clean. We actually really liked this place. When I will come to visit her again, we will most likely return here.

The restaurant was nice overall. Staff was friendly. Manager seemed like he was yelling at the kitchen but that got us our food quickly so that was okay by us. My husband got a draft beer and he could tell immediately that they dont clean their taps. So gross! We ordered two specials. My husband had the duck special which was really good. I ordered a pasta special that was supposed to have jumbo lump crab meat, calamari and shrimp. It did not have any jumbo lump crab meat but instead had bay scallops. Those are obviously not the same nor is the value the same. Bay scallops are super cheap! The meal was cold in places and definitely not worth the $24. We wont return.

We had a reservation on July 3rd for 7 people at 7:00. When we arrived, we were seated. After waiting for 15 minutes, a waiter came over and told us that the kitchen was slammed, and it would be at least an hour before the food would be out. We wanted to order drinks and appetizers, but he said they would not ready for an hour. Thats when he suggested that we should leave now, rather than wait. The same waiter then went to the table next to us and told them the same story. We left, and the other table left too. Im sure our bill would have been around $350.00 (plus a sizeable tip). I only wish I had gotten the waiters name. This is no way to run a business.

This was the worst dinning experience we ever had. The food was terrible and the service worse. We ordered a plan steak, but were served a steak soaked in marinade instead. When we asked that a new steak be prepared, the owner, Bernie came over to the table. He gave us the third degree as to how the mistake happened. In the end, he decided that the restaurant was not responsible for the error, and had the nerve to charge us for both steaks. The owner actually charged us for the steak we sent back!

I have eaten there three times recently. The food is amazing!! Striped Bass was the best fish dish I have ever had. The burger is magnificent. The steak sandwich is to die for. The duck frites are amazing. Chef Michael Ross is back, and his food is better than ever. This place is a hidden treasure, and with the new owners (who are super nice), it is sure to become a well sought after place to eat.

Ive been able to get subs from White House a couple of times and they were great. I wouldve gotten more during other visits if the line wasnt so long. White House Sub Shop is a very small place where you have to be in and out quickly. Believe me, they make great subs but be ready to order

We ate at Spinnakers (first time) for Valentines Day. Both the service and food were great! Try the ice cream sandwich with ice cream float...amazing. My wife and daughter were both given a rose on the way out. The hostess is genuinely accommodating and friendly.

From the ratings on here and reviews I was expecting an outstanding meal. Food was uneven. The Jambalaya was way too hot which masked any other seasoning in the dish and the oysters did not taste fresh but the Cod was delicious. Probably would not return.

I Went to Spinnakers to play piano on open mic and was delighted by the friendly quaint feel of the place, great times to be had by all! When in Oyster By you must eat, hang out and enjoy their cozy yet "fat" atmosphere Highly recommended is Spinnakers

This restaurant is quaint and romantic. The food is spectacularly delicious. The wait staff was appropriately attentive. Did I mention how delicious dinner was? This is a perfect spot for a special dinner out to "get to know each other better"

I have had dinner and lunch there a few times. The executive chef, John Brill, is a master. You must try the mac and cheese/pulled pork and fritos. It is heavenly!

The Pork Chop was Fantastic. The Coconut cake was gigantic. 4 people ate it. A young lady by the name of Crystal was very sweet.
