The service was splendid. The food was NOT stellar considering the menu hasnt changed at all, the noise is unbearable but worse of all are the occasional not so classy female attire of some patrons and the embarrassment that the front desk doesnt have a boundary to turn away the less dressed woman that want to flaunt their bodies. I witnessed a woman dressed with hip hugger jeans legs crossed at the high top bar with her friend and her black lace thong that caressed her ass was not appropriate on a Sunday afternoon with families and children surrounding the place as the hostess chuckled a laugh and threw his hands up. I was later informed by another patron who frequents the establishment often that the Thursday before, another another classless female patron walked in with a half shirt just draped over her breasts. So unless your looking for a mediocre menu with the same ol trash you see on social media, this place is for you. This restaurant gets a thumb DOWN.

Been here many times with my wife, friends, family, even made a 75th birthday for my father in the semi-private room in the back. Food is very good, atmosphere is lively, the manager Cliff is incredibly cordial and quite the conversationalist - without it being overbearing. Definitely a place to be seen and to people watch. My one and only gripe is the ambient noise level. It is loud. They spent a lot of money designing and decorating the place, they should consider investing in some functional sound treatment as well.

Bar Frites is a Long Island favorite. Its litty AF. Inside its a movie bruh! Great for people watching with a buzzing scene that packs energy. At peak hours it can get a bit loud but hey bring ya damn ear plugs and your outdoor voice. Bar Frites has a very diverse menu ranging from steak frites to brick oven pizzas. There isnt something you wont find. All the food I ordered was very good, the tuna tartare and the pan roasted chicken were tastier than a mofo. I recommend this joint for a night on the town with the homies.

Great place for lunch or dinner. I prefer lunch because it it less crowded. The mussels and fries are incredible. (Especially the truffle fries-that is a must) The escargot is another must have. Overall after coming here a few times, every single items on the menu is on point and the staff is always friendly. I will certainly go back and recommend this place to a friend.

I love this restaurant, every time my wife and I have had dinner here it has been better then the last. I love the lamb shank special and the steak frites are amazing. It has plenty of parking and the ambiance inside is full of energy. Reminds me of pastis or Balthazar in the city. Very good food, excellent service! Will definitely be going back again.

I give it four stars because my first experience here with steak was awful! They did not cook it properly at all and when asked about it they just reheated up my steak n made it dry. However my second time there i had a much different experience and loved all the food i had.

First time dining here... great service. Waiter was very friendly and informative. Food was exceptional, especially the french dip. Dessert was delicious. Drinks were yum. Atmosphere delightful. Wed go again for sure.
