First time here, I decided to check it out on the recommendation of a coworker who knows the owner. I ate off the Stamford restaurant week menu. Sat at the bar, and the bar tender was a total "bro" who was more interested in chatting up the women than taking my order. He peaced out in the middle of my meal without saying anything. I had the heirloom tomato panzanella and the grilled hanger steak with brussel sprouts and the food was absolutely divine. I will return for the food, NOT for the service.

Almost everything on the menu comes with a fried egg. Although I do enjoy eggs, I dont enjoy it being paired with a dish of pasta. The dishes are small so it makes each plate expensive for what you get. Ive been there in the summer and also in the winter and it is ALWAYS so hot in there. I understand that with the pizza oven being exposed, but there is something called air conditioning in the summer months people! This is another restaurant trying to pretend they are in NYC.

We went for a Birthday Party. We sat upstairs. We absolutely love the place! Cosy, warm, relax ! The room has a large window where you can see the downstairs! It makes you feel part of the entire restaurant, almost been in control of the place. The service was great. The staff was very nice, and came to ask how we where doing every 10 mnts. Overall we had a great time. Place was great! Food was excellent! services 10! thank you Bar Rosso. Will be back for more parties !

I went to Bar Rosso last night with a group of friends, and even though the food was good and they have a nice atmosphere the staff kept trying to clear the plates off my table when we clearly werent finished. The restaurant wasnt busy either, so there was no reason to rush my table. Then when I told the guy clearing the table I wasnt finished, he gave me a nasty look! I wont go back!

A rude employee of Bar Rosso called up my dealership to see if we installed freezers in NV cargo vans. I told him we do not but I can happily help him find someone who can help him. Instead of being a stand up business man he decided to hang up phone on me. Completely rude and definitely says something about the people who work for this company.

One of the my favorite restaurants in Stamford. I love the food. Staff has always been attentive too. Never too crowded. I love the décor and atmosphere as well. Try the mussels, fried mozz, and garganelli pasta dish!

Great food. Awesome wine and beer selection. Cool location on quite downtown side street. When the weather is right, the big windows are open, adding to the great atmosphere.
