This is not a typical Chinatown place. Its cafeteria style, no waiters, styrofoam trays and plastic utensils. Zero ambience, gloomy atmosphere. So why the five stars? Enormous selection of authentic Chinese food. Authentic means not Chinese American. Authentic means real working-class, home-style, no-frills food. The best part: Either 4 choices and rice, or 5 choices and no rice (both include standard watery soup) for $4.50! You can add any additional choices for $1.00 each. This style of food would probably not be very appealing to most tourists or even Hipster foodies. Many dishes contain semi-unidentifiable animal parts and have bland or harsh flavors, but thats the way this style food is supposed to taste. Not a date place, not really for having a lot of fun, and there is almost nothing that an American kid would even touch. But if you want to try all kinds of interesting, no-nonsense, uncompromised Chinese dishes, in a pretty rough setting, this place is great... and certainly the most bang for the buck youll find anywhere.

Dont waste your time. Went there asked for shrimp as one of the 5 for $5 they gave me 3 shrimp mind you an Asian guy next to me hand about a handful but its ok. I hate when people act like they dont want your business so they treat you different from their kind. It was $5 I hope they enjoy it and then the woman at the door shout pay first pay first acting like I wasnt going to pay but as I said its ok hope they enjoy that $5.

我在曼哈顿华尔街上班，$4.50一份的四菜一汤当午餐性价比还真的挺高的，简单又方便。这里选择其实蛮多的，有蛤蜊、秋刀鱼、卤水蛋、西兰花等等。补充每天营养所需绝对是够了。

If i can give a zero i will. Posting signs of box meal and door does open at claimed 10-5 buisness hour but inside looks like a past-tsunami scene and only one staff looked at me as if i am a thief. That attitude may be a living explanation of why it is shutting down.

Seems to be a place for tour groups coming from China. Dont expect things like environment or service, though Id say the food is very cheap yet tasty. For $4.5, you cant find a better place to eat food other than a burger combo.

Great price and tasty food selections. Cant expect other services for just $4.50. They give 3 shrimps per selection. If someone wants more, they can ask for two selections of shrimp. I think the other customer misunderstood.
