Terrible experience. Just moved to Brick and figured we would try it out, worst chinese buffet I have ever been to. Hibachi was "ok" but then youre expected to tip them extra and today was fathers day and they insisted they had signs outside saying the price was higher, and the sign was not out when we came in but magically was when we were leaving. (I know this because my niece went up to the water wall they have and we all stood in front of it without the sign there, then it appeared during our meal sometime as he pointed to it when we complained atbout food and service) I dont mind paying extra for good food, but no one is my party was happy with the experience. Most of the "basics" seemed to be made differently, and someone in my party frequents this place and said there were no "special" foods put out for Fathers Day for the higher price we were expected to pay. The desserts were terrible. Cakes looks lopsided and homemade and not good at all. They have little hospital quality ice creams for dessert. The waiter also didnt bring us the correct drinks. Im sorry but def not worth almost $20 a person. For that we couldve went and sat down at restaurant and ate a decent meal. We all left barely eating!!! And the customer service when we complained was TERRIBLE. They could care less that we werent happy. They just want to make their money and send you on your way. He argued with me about everything until I had to scream for a partial refund while standing next to another paying customer who also said she was never coming back again. At least step it up on the nights you are charging extra! Will NOT be returning.

On 9/19/16. Was there for lunch. When we waited to be seated we had waited for a long while. Because the young man was on his smart phone and did not notice us. Also the food was mediocre at best. Some of the dishes were stale. The fries had tasted like they came out of the microwave. The beef was very rubbery and tough. The cakes were very stale. But all this was not why I gave a low rating. Even the young man was bad. But his biggest problem was not paying attention to his surroundings. My advice to him put the phone down while at work. But even with them I would of rated 3.5 stars. Maybe even 4 stars. Customer service is the most important element to any business. How someone treats you when you leave makes all the difference. Some may not agree but when I give some one a tip. I dont expect them to get all excited. But I do expect them to be nice about it and not to take it like the tip given was not enough and the attitude was that of disgust. I am right now on a strict budget. And choose to go there to treat myself and my mom. For my 44th birthday. Not exactly the feeling I wanted to have on my birthday. I myself work with the people for mens formalwear and know that reviews are very important. So dont take this as a let down. But a way that improvements can be made.

I got there at 10:46 on a Saturday morning not realizing they didnt open till 11. I walked in to see them still setting up so I felt kinda bad. I was greeted though, by a very very nice group of employees. Once the food came out, my brother and I tried to power eat before I had to go to work. At a buffet, thats usually easy because everything is just kind of warmish... Everything here though was nice and hot, probably because it just came out. But let me tell you, this was the best food Ive had at a buffet. Everything I had was good. Everything. After eating 4 plates of everything from chicken to calamari to pizza, we decided to try the sushi. Oh. My. God. This was by far the best sushi Ive ever had. I was shocked by how good it all was. After that, we had dessert, which was again, the best weve had at a buffet. Im very impressed and I will be back. 6/5 stars if I could.

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE APPROACH! We have wanted to try the place for a while, showed up at 3:30. The person (Not the owner I assume) at the cashier desk, said we would have to pay the higher rate. because it was now 3:31. The place was totaly empty, lots of food out though. He turned away 2 adults and 2 children. I did not want today the higher rate on principle. (We are local by the way) not only will we NEVER GO THERE AGAIN we we will tell everyone to avoid the place Thats how not to build good customer relations.

Just a mess! They were allowing young children to run around the tables playing ring around the rosey for about an hour! They decided to talk to them only after the children decided to sit on the floor, in the middle of buffet section and play a game. Speaking in their language and walking them back to large party in the back. But that didnt last long. So thats how they do it here! NO CRAB LEGS! (You have to pay for that!) Not much of selection of food either! Im done with this place!...Final Answer!!

Me and my friends go here all the time to get fat. Its sooo good, but dont get the food under the heat lamps, get the food from the hibachi station. So good, ask him to put soy and teriyaki sauce on your meal, you wont regret it. Our friend is known there as "Egg Guy" because he eats about a dozen eggs each time we go. This stuff is so good, please do yourself a favor and go. 10/10 would eat eggs again. ALSO please tip the hibachi guy, he works hard and is a funny guy.

I went here earlier today, and I was in the area with all my friends, and noticed it was rated 4.1 stars so we thought it would be good, we walked in and saw that it was very nice, however.. the General tsous chicken tasted like toilet water, the dumplings had an odd smell the only food that actually tasted good was the pre made food for example: the childrens Mac& cheese, chicken nuggets and pizza.. I dont recommend this place and neither do the 4 others I was with.

For a buffet this stop has a great spread, extensive choice of sushi, chicken dishes, fruit dessert. Everything you would expect and probably more. They also have a fresh grilling station that is available for dinner hours. Place is clean, besides the bathroom needing a facelift. Overall the only way this could get a better rating is if they had a carving station but that is asking for a lot for 7.25 for lunch and about $12 dinner all you can eat....

Excellent place to get lots of variety on food and Sushi. The other buffets around Toms River and Brick just dont compare to the selection that Flaming Grill has. My family comes here all the time when we feel like indulging on food. The place is clean and looks modern compared to other buffets in town. The staff is very friendly. One of them even gave our 2 year old son a toy from the grab machine.

Most of it is your standard Chinese buffet, you have your steam tables of noodles, rice, chicken, and other proteins. But what really sets this place apart from all of the other buffets for me is the phenomenal grill this place has, they always have fresh ingredients and an good selection of proteins. All in all its a decent place to drop into when youre hungry.
