I visited again soon after the last visit, then I had an awful experience. The manager at this place needs to learn how to properly handle issues with customers and professional manner. A disgusting and huge worm was found in raw oyster. When we called the manager to take a look at it, the first thing came out of her mouth was "there is a warning sign by the oyster bar that worm may be found in the oyster". I was so upset at the way she handled the problem and I forgot to check back the sign. So I dont know what the sign says. Obviously, they did not clean oysters shell properly. But, I was too tired and did not feel like being argumentative and make a scene. So when she offered to take off one meal from our bill, I decided to settle the issue. But, I lost all appetite by then after seeing something disgusting and managers rude reaction. Apology came way after lots of excuses and treating like that is not much of a problem. Then, when I paid with Groupon - I purchased $25 Groupon covering $45 value - she said that we cannot combine my Groupon deal with the compensation. It is either I have to pay with other method or just use Groupon. When I complained a little harder, the manager offered to take off $45 instead of $26.99 and made me keep my Groupon. She said, as if that is such a generous offer that I can come back and use the Groupon next time. I took that deal just because $45 is better than $26.99. The manager did not leave me no other option. Totally absurd, but again I was too tired and did not feel like being argumentative. When a problem like this occur, I think that a respectful and sincere apology always should come first before anything, communicate courteously, try your best to understand how the customer feels about the problem, and provide a real compensation that me customer feels compensated. The managers service quality at this restaurant is just below average level. After visiting few times, I see that the food quality overall is not consistent. So, if you plan for something special, I would definitely not recommend this place. You never know what kind of food you are gonna get that day. Since experiencing oyster worm, I would not trust much of there raw food. The creme brulee dessert was cold. Vegetables in salad was not so fresh. The only thing I liked in consistent manner at POC is king crab legs. Other hot food is okay, but for the price, I think they should raise the quality little better. -- last visit around Christmas time in 2016 I went with Groupon deal and had a dinner with my friend. Comfortable and decent fresh quality fish and food. Good for family and also kid friendly. The restaurant has a little room with TV and tablets for kids to spend time.

The food there is awesome. However last time I went there, the fat waitress with glasses asked me if I want my changes back even though I already put $5 on the table, then she proceeded to explain tipping to me which I did not pay attention to because I was focusing on the sheer audacity that someone could have to even ask such a question in the first place. Of course I want my changes back...if not I would say so. By saying this, shes putting me on the spot and suggesting that I am being cheap; that she doesnt think that $5 is enough, that I could be guilted into giving her more just because she put me on the spot. In truth I am being very generous, refilling some drinks and taking away some plates are not hard tasks. There are people in Africa that earns less than $5 per month. Be grateful for whatever a customer give you, even if its a penny. You serve us customers, not the other way around. Anything that we give you is out of our generosity...we dont have to give you anything. As a customer, I expect you to be grateful, I expect you to give my exact changes back, not one penny less (I did not get my exact changes back btw, it was short serveal coins and a receipt). Management should install hd security cameras and watch these servers carefully, instruct them that it is not ok to ask if customers want our changes, that it is not ok to short change a customer even for one cent. It is not ok to to take away our forks when we are not done eating yet. If someone can not follow these simple instructions, they should not work in this position, there are a lot of competitive people who can do this simple job and doing it well. Update: Went there again with my girlfriends, was served by a semi-HOT waitress whom gave me her number. Unfortunately the fat one is still there and not yet fired. She made disturbing loud noises while I was eating, that is not acceptable. As soon as she is fired, I will up this review to a 5.

I think you know what youre getting into when coming to an AYCE buffet. POC does a decent job as far as food quality goes. There are a decent amount of choices ranging from sushi to Chinese food to American to seafood to a carving station to kids choices. As with any buffet that has a carving station, I went straight for it. Of course I want to get my moneys worth! Choices are always good - skirt steak, spare ribs, prime rib, turkey. Everything Ive had from that station is great. I think its the highlight of POC. Other stations I dont care for are sushi and seafood. The quality of the sushi is, at best, on par with East Restaurant and, that is to say, average. I dont go out of my way to fill up on OK sushi. Seafood station is constantly packed as, again, people want to get their moneys worth but the oysters are only OK. Obviously not the freshest anyones ever had. The crab legs are crab legs. Every buffet has them & theyre always a staple. Overall, its a good place if you have a nice sized group that has different tastes. POC truly has something for everyone, even kids. Jack of all trades/food, master of none.

We celebrated our daughters 7th birthday here for dinner today! She picked it because it has the magical chocolate fountain! We are sushi lovers and for the dinner price, the sushi selection is abundant, fresh, and perfectly rolled! Today, we discovered you can order any roll of your choice and they make it custom for you and this is included in the price!!!! Amazing service from our server Sandi, she rocks! Our favorites were fresh oysters, tuna and salmon tataki, lamb chops, coconut shrimp, fried rice, and so much more. The fondue is a hit with kiddos and the tres leches cake is yummy! It was my brothers first time here and well lets say, he didnt pace himself, but thoroughly enjoyed it. They offer a video gaming room for kids as they eat quickly and its at no extra cost! The staff made lovely Shirley temples for our children with extra cherries so they were over the moon. I highly recommend this place for families or date night. There was even a private party celebrating tonight. Great spot and for the most part a hidden gem still! Kudos to staff for cleanliness, we will be back!

I eat way too much when we go to this buffet! I have a rule though that I take small plates of what I want and tiny amounts of new things to try of which they have allot! This way you dont waste otherwise they will charge you extra which I think is fair. The outside is strip mall but the inside is nicer. The bathrooms are well maintained and clean everytime weve gone. The desert bar is so good Ive hit it before finishing dinner and then gone back to dinner! They can get busy though and after lunch they reset the foods for dinner which is a higher price. We were there for the changeover but we werent rushed out so we enjoyed finishing.
