I was in the mood for Mexican food and based on a review decided to give this place a try. Big mistake, I should have went with a proven quantity. First off, the delivery took 30 minutes longer than what I was initially told. Understood, it happens with all restaurants. Second I wanted chicken and steak quesadillas instead I was given vegetarian. I wanted beans instead of plantains and I was told that I wasnt charged extra as though it somehow makes everything okay. Now all this would be fine if the food were actually good. Sometimes when you end up with something a little different from what you actually ordered you come across hidden gems. Not in this case. The food was bland. Yes BLAND. After throwing out the half eaten meal, I proceeded to place another order to another Mexican food restaurant on North Ave. The price is the only thing that gives this place the second star otherwise its Mr. Taco for me.

Very filthy people they sell food with dirty nails they have an audacity to smoke cigarettes and they do not wash their hands very disgusted Department of Health has been notified only to be advised they had many issues in the past of Health violations beware when I went to the manager to report what I have witness he act like he dont speak English I walked out this place should be closed down with all the violations that they are hiding

Although they only take cash, they are worth the stop to the atm. The food is consistently delicious and allergy friendly. They are under new management and have greatly improved customer service. The prices remain budget friendly and the food is scrumptious. Parking is just around the corner at the New Rochelle Library. It is a family favorite.

Have not been there in a while, but when I lived in New Rochelle, I was a regular. By far, my favorite Mexican restaurant of all time. Enchilada platter is my regular entrée. When there with others, appetizer is their vegetarian nachos (covered with beans and cheese). Its the Mexican grandmother I never had.

I have been going to this little resteraunt for years and although the service can be a litttle spotty the food is really good and great value. The numbered combinations from $6- $12 are great value - a nic efull plate of tasty food. Highly recommended for a casual authentic Mexican eatery.

This place has really nice outdoor seating, attentive staff and good prices. I had the rice and beans, which was really good, and really freaking amazing plantains. The guacamole was a little too sour and water-like but otherwise its a cute Mexican restaurant to eat in New Rochelle!

This place sucks. The food is bad and the portion are small. I payed almost $17 for a shrimp quesadilla, and it was more like a taco. I have been to many Mexican restaurants, and this one is the worst. I dont know recomennt this at all there is nothing about Mexican here.

If you judge this place from his it looks you are missing out on some good Mexican food and service. Had some great enchiladas, there is homemade chips, and the fresh Pico Di gaio is awesome. Great price for how much food they give. CASH ONLY.
