The pizza is great. Its a fairly small menu, and could stand to have a few more apps, or heartier salads, but the pizza is good enough that I guess you dont really need anything else. Im pretty disappointed that they dont have high chairs, so probably wont be back for a while. EDIT: Returned a few months later, at 4 pm when its empty in there. Knowing about the high chair thing, my husband and I figured wed take home a pizza and grab a drink at the bar while we waited. Nope. FIrst, babies arent allowed at the bar,(or really anywhere, since they dont have seats for them). The bartender was impolite and rude. And you cant get takeout, even if you are there for a drink first. So, we walked right back out. Their pizza might be good, but theres plenty of other places to go that dont snub you for being a parent.

Great pizza and beer. Unfortunately, this evening the waiters at the table behind us spilled beer and wine that splashed onto our table, covered the back of my coat and soaked part of my shirt. The worst part? No apology from staff or management. They didnt clean up the areas near us. I had to ask for a cloth to wipe down my coat and the cloth smelled worse than the spills. I wiped down the spills on our table and adjacent wall. Again, no offer to help from staff. They did comp one beer. Big deal! No offer to clean my clothes. The waitress seemed to avoid our table after the accident. Im so disappointed since we do frequent this restaurant.

I try to be as polite and positive in my reviews as possible. I do appreciate the small yet creative craft beer selection, almost something for everyone. What I do not appreciate is a complete BS response when I inquired about ordering two pizzas to go. In every other way, this is the best pizza in town, hands down. If the wood fired pizza shop in East Syracuse can figure out how to do delicious pizzas for both fine in and take out, I think you can too.

Ive never been less than overjoyed with my pizza and salad here. I love the arugula pie (*not* veggie safe -- it has prosciutto, mmmmm) with added spinach. Even though Im an omnivore, I love the vegetarian pizza options. And the chili chocolate gelato is heavenly. Go mentally prepared for a long wait (the bar has great changing beer and wine selections), and find yourself pleasantly surprised if there isnt one. :-)

Pizza is pretty darn good, but be prepared to pay for the quality. Also, during busy times, you can be waiting a while to be seated or eat, which can take away form the experience. With so many excellent pizza options in the area, waiting 60 minutes in a crowded restaurant without even a seat is kind of a bummer.

We love Ironwood! Im surprised at how few reviews of this place there are. The have great craft beers (and wine), solid options of pizzas on the menu, and delicious gelato. We almost always get the pizza special of the day. Its a great setting with great lighting, big windows, a big space, and cozy atmosphere.

The pizza here is AMAZING! You have to try it. They also have a good selection of craft beer. The restaurant itself has a laid back hipster feel. They need a little more seating space - it can get a little noisy and hard to hear in the dining area. Overall its a really great restaurant with awesome pizza!

Great food ! Artesian wood fired pizza made with premium ingredients. Its the pizza youd make at home if you had a wood fired stove...... Great craft beer selection. (check them out on BeerBoard on your phone) and terrific service. Were there once a week.

Their pizzas are great, beer selection is small but always changing and always a good one on tap. Bar staff very knowledgable about the selections, will let you try them all. So what if they wont do take out pizzas, wahhhhhhh ya crybabys. Highly recommended.

The pizza is REALLY good here. Nice selection of artisan style pizzas and a nice selection of craft beers on tap. The staff is very friendly. They dont have seating for small kids (no high chairs), so pack up a booster seat if you need one for your infants.

My husband and I had dinner here tonight and it was amazing. Our server, Nick, was exceptional & the bartender was too. The pizza was excellent- the ingredients were fresh and prepared daily. I loved everything about this place and will be back again

Ironwood is a tree. It is also a city in the Upper Peninsula that I love. In Manlius, where everyone has a New York State of Mind, Ironwood serves delicious Neopolitan style pizza baked in a oven kept hot with hard wood, an iron wood, ironically.

This pizza is by far the best around. They have a pretty good beer selection as well, and a great casual atmosphere. This is by far the best pizza place to pop up in the syracuse area since Ive lived here (15yrs+)

Pizza was undercooked for our whole party. Waitress also gave my friend advice on a beer to order. He didnt like it after one taste and she told him that its the rule that they still have to charge him for it.

Too noisy when full CCTV, probably an ideal setting for college students, but not for someone trying to carry on a conversation below scream volume. Salad was very good, though. Manager was very helpful.
