Its nice to see an independent , non- fast food place come to town. We tried this on a March evening . It seemed like an awkward setup from the moment we entered ... Standing there looking we had no clue if we were supposed to sit and wait or order at the front grill , register ,etc??? . When we entered it took the owner/ cook/ cashier /server a while to offer assistance. The menu is quite schizophrenic ... A curry , burrito, samosa , chicken fried rice , a panini ??? Its hard to tell what to order and hard to match up a side with a main dish. Our food was ok ... The panini was very small , thin and on every day loaf of sliced bread and thats it ... a panini all alone on the plate. I think this place has lots of potential, and I see others have had good experiences ... But from our experience they need to decide what it wants to be and do it well. They really need a menu makeover.

I would not recommend this place. The food was pretty good but it took forever to get it and the owner seems very frazzled. I think its also over priced. Chicken kabob and rice was close to $20/ each. Ill take the extra mileage to Dosa next time. He was also rude and not accommodating on my kids being gluten free and earning a free lunch at the library. We enjoyed a discounted GF pizza at Marks and a free GF cone at sno top instead. Both businesses were more than happy to work with their allergy and continue to support them on their Summer reading program. We will not be back to Open Flame.

I went there for lunch today, it was so amazing went back for dinner. The beef and chicken skewers were out of this world, the rice was cooked perfectly with great flavor, the green and white dip is soooo good I asked for extra the second trip there today. This guy even makes a simple salad taste so great. I hope more people go to this restaurant as it is so nice having middle eastern food right in town. This place is now top on my list of places to go. Aside from the food the atmosphere is very clean and relaxing. Stylish decor, very modern. The price was very reasonable as well.

This place has great food but it takes forever(thats if you can catch them open) The reason why I have given them 1 star is because I just went there at 12:45pm on a Thursday. Well within their open hours and literally lunch hour and they are closed with no sign on the door other a clock saying be back at 4pm. This is terrible and super annoying especially when most of us have limited lunch hours. This isnt the first time this has happened to me and other people I know. Please fix your hours. You are inconveniencing a lot of customers.

I came here with my family for dinner. The food was great and executed well. The time taken to make the food was not very long... other than my meal. They forgot about my order, but my case is probably one in a million at this restaurant. My meal was out in 10 minutes. My words;small, cozy and sweet. The owner is soooo nice, he even gave us a second complimentary dish. I recommend this restaurant to everyone, a must-go. Once you taste the food you will be hooked

First time here and we are happily surprised! The dining room is clean and appealing. We got takeout-- a variety of dishes--and it is fresh and delicious. I wish the owner had been more engaging because the eclectic menu is so interesting.... being a lover of international cuisine I wanted to know more about his process and item choices but he was reserved with conversation. Good choices for vegetarians. I recommend the food and hope this place survives!

The food is fresh, made to order, and really really good. Menu is small but executed well, and reasonably priced. Its definitely my new favorite place to go from now on. The owner is friendly and always takes the time to ask how things are.
