Dont bother! Took over 15 minits, just for server to come over for drink order. Salad.round was cold enough, but basic, garlic bread seemed like it was just a sub/hoagie roll w/ garlic slapped on. Ordered calamari, which was overcooked and rubbery, sent that back to the kitchen. They are supposedly known for their gravy / sauce, which was too acidic and salty. Our party also ordered chicken and veal parm, chicken marsala, and the chicken campo, which were way below average, although the chicken and veal itself was cooked well, the accompanying sauces and gravies were not good. When we were done w/ dinner, server came w/ our check, never asking if we wanted dessert, which we did want. it took over 20 minits for the dessert & coffees to arrive, while we sat and looked at our dirty dishes. We had to ask for them to be removed. The nutella cake was so dry, we sent that back too. It took the server another 20 minits for the bill to get straightened out (the owner did credit our bill for the calamari and the bad.dessert). Just dont bother going here, not worth the time or money.

Not a very happy camper. First time eating here and most likely will be the last. Initial contact was great and impressed with the selection on the menu. Ordered cheese wheel and veal dish...calamari as an app. Calamari was just ok...not much flavor to it. Now for the good part...over an hour wait for our food with no explanation while tables seated after us got there meals. When we questioned the server all we got was excuses. One blamed the kitchen and told us there story, the other blames the system that supposedly was changed, another blamed the original waitress for not putting the order into the kitchen. Asked to have our meal cancelled and one was and the other was delivered and looked like it was just quickly thrown together. When we asked for a take out container it was just thrown on the table in front of us. A manager did come over to apologize but offered nothing but a free meal the next time we would visit....which probably wont happen. Then it took another 15 minutes to have our check processed. No a good experience!

Italian so bad you have to double check to be sure youre not at a diner. I ordered baked ziti with a side of meatballs. The meatballs were super processed and probably fresh from a frozen bag of Chef Boyardee in the freezer. The baked ziti was anything but - just boiled ziti noodles tossed into a bowl with some sauce and cheese on top and thrown in the oven just long enough to melt the cheese. My wife tried a panini, which turned out to just be a greasy Italian sub that someone smushed on the griddle and was served cold. Its a shame the food didnt taste as good as the place smelled, or was near as nice as the staff or décor, otherwise this would be a much different review. On the bright side, we werent charged for our meals after sending them back.

Waitresses are extremely rude but food is good. Edit 10/15/14: HORRIBlE WAIT STAFF! I have given it several more chances since my initial review and they are always rude, however they crossed the line last time by arguing with me about my order not being right. I just wanted cheese fries and they forgo t the cheese and asked for some. BIG MISTAKE the girl argued with me on how I didnt order it. They crossed the line and I refuse to go back.

I would say the highlight of this establishment is the brick oven pizza. Having come from an area in which they abound, I was concerned, that living in Berks county, it would be impossible to find a bonafide wood burning brick oven pizza. I must say, while not perfect, this is a real treat. I cannot speak for other menu items, save the calamari, which was good too, but this establishment is one to which I would return.

Mangia is truly a dining embellishment. The Chef is incredible, food presentation eye-catching, and waitresses are fantastic. You have GOT TO TRY the cheese wheel and banana foster dessert!!! Menu offers something delicious for everyone. We took our grandson and he has been telling everyone!!!! Casual attire. TRY IT ---- YOU WILL BRING ALL YOUR FRIENDS!!!!!!!

I ordered out quite often most of the time our order was missing something or the appetizers were soggy. They tell you 10 mins when u call in its never done when u get there regardless if its 10 mins or 20 mins. Also the appearence of the items are not great. My family and I have not ordered there since and get better food elsewhere for a lot less money.

Went here for the first time for s birthday party. The service was good but the food was just decent at best. We were disappointed because we have heard such good things in the past about this place. Everything tasted like frozen food, not fresh local quality food. The ice cream probably was the best part.

Good food, reasonable prices. They have 2 varieties of cheese wheels you can get. They advertise that they are the only place that offers 2 varieties...I dont know about that but they are very good and its neat to see them made right beside your table

Save your money. Owner is rude, wait staff is clueless. Dont look to go here on a hot day. A/C was either broken or not turned on. Food is ok, but lots of other great Italian places in Berks that I would rather spend my money at before here.

Pasta is good, definitely above average (the rigatoni carbonara in particular) Sandwiches are pretty average The wood oven pizza is the star though, my favorite around here.
