It was the most disgusting experience Ive ever had at a Red Lobster. I arrived around 12:15 pm. I was ordering carry out at the bar. The waiter, Daniel M, was very rude and unprofessional. First of all he took his time even acknowledging my presence when he finally said Ill be with you shortly. Mind you, its only two other people in the bar area. One person seated in a booth and a couple at the bar who had already ordered. So he walks past me several times and he looked at me and saw I was getting irritated so he said "Im sorry but everybodys calling me at one time." Excuse me, its nobody in here but 2 people besides myself. But what really irritated me was how attentive he was to the needs of the white couple at the bar. And yes, the waiter was African American and so am I. The white couple would ask him a question or ask for tea or whatever and he answered their questions so politely and was at their beck and call. Rushed right away to get the tea. Even asked them if they would like certain condiments just offering to help them in any way he could. When I was about to leave, he finally came to take my order with an attitude. But what finally did it was when I got home I noticed one of the items I ordered wasnt in the bag. I go back to Red Lobster to get it. The hostess said she would let Daniel know and she told me he would be right out with it. Yes, he came out and handed me the item. He was very stand offish and didnt apologize or even open his mouth and say a word for omitting the item in the first place. You inconvenienced me by having to make another trip back to get the item you should have put in the bag from the beginning. Looked at me like I dare you come back here and embarrass me. Well Daniel, you are an embarrassment and Red Lobster needs to be more careful and selective about the type of people they employ. You shouldnt judge people and you need to respect everyone, regardless of their race. See, you got it twisted...I dont need you. My business pays your salary and my job pays me $25.00 an hour. I doubt very seriously if I will visit this Red Lobster again and if so, it wont be carry out and pray the dine in service is much better. I wouldnt recommend this Red Lobster to anyone and most definitely tell my friends and family about my horrible experience with Daniel M.

We have been to several Red Lobsters before. We were not impressed with this location. Went around 4:30. Only a handful of diners besides us. Took our waiter long to get drinks, didnt get bread until our entrees came out even though we asked several times, only received 3 biscuits the first time when we are a family of 4, and only one other basket with 4 biscuits after we asked for more right away. That was it for the whole duration. The food was subpar and the dessert cookie lava thing my son ordered had burnt chocolate in the middle. Im guessing the waiter overwarmed it. Overall, disappointed in the service and the food. Will not be returning to this location.

Food was good. Manager and acting bartender MIRANDA doesnt know how to fix long island tea. Sent me a glass of heavy ice, slice of lemon, lemon aid with.no alcohol. There should be 5 liquors and I tasted no alcohol. When I complained telling her she rip me off at $6.99 per drink she was very rude. Managers should not be bartending. Remember her name, Maranda, do not let her rip you off. Better of if you go by grocery store and pick up a Budwiser. She stinks at bartending and a poor manager with attitude. Ordered Ultimate Feast. Lobster tail wasnt totallly cooked & not hot. Crab legs werent heated all the way through. Water coming out of them wasnt even hot. Waitress hardly checked on us at all. Restaurant was really dark & dingy. We were there at 2PM in afternoon. Wont ever go back. Food definitely over priced for lack of quality. Also crab dinner advertised on TV was only good Monday thru Thursday. That is not mentioned in TV ad. We went on Sunday & found restrictions listed on menu. Dont waste your money.

Walts Favorite Shrimp tasted like old frozen Shrimp from a cheap grocer. It was like eating oily flavored cardboard with sawdust sprinkled on top. This was the Lynnhaven location. My wife and I took friends out for their birthday and spent well in excess of $100. Two of us ordered that horrible excuse for a meal. I would have protested vehemently but I didnt want to make a scene for my surrogate grandsons birthday. At least hiseal and my wifes meal were okay. Just dont order that horrible Walts Shrimp.

Me and a male friend were in green dresses after a charity run (tidewater green dress run). The Red Lobster management did not welcome our business on reasons that I rightfully suspect relating to homophobia and/or hatred towards the LGBT community. If you support the LBGT community, I would strongly advise taking your business elsewhere because we did not feel wanted or welcome here.

Dont ever come to this location. Go to the independence location. This location is rude!! My friend and I waited for over 20 minutes for the waiter to even ask me what We wanted to drink. They only care about you if you come with a group. I use to love this location but after my couple of visits here. I will drive past this location JUST to go to the independence location!!

The service was good but when you order the endless shrimp & only get 5 shrimp at a time how can you get full. We ended up just leaving cause we got tired of waiting for 5 shrimp & our daughter was getting fussy after waiting so long & my fiance was still hungry when we left. I wouldnt recommend the endless shrimp unless you plan on staying a while.

Poorly, before we got in the door she said that it was a fifteen min wait. Ok noproblem, partly of 5.. Then after 5 minutes she said a hour wait.?? I said ok we will sat in the bar area and eat. She said no, it will still be a hour: She said no again, no-one to serve us, the bar area.they were short staff, mothers day weekend......

Tried to make a reservation and was told we couldnt. So at 12 noon we arrived at the restaurant and asked for a table for 10. The manager was rude and said he would try and seat us as close as possible but no guarantee. We waited about an hour to be seated. If it werent for our waiter, Zach, I would never go back

I always come to lunch here. Love the food. Liz is the best, she knows us by name. She is absolutely excellent. She truly is the best!!!!!! I have eaten at many places, but I have never found a waitress as good as her. She knows her customers. We always get the best service her

Didnt know placing a to go order was such an ordeal. No service attention from attendant at bar. Acting greatly disturbed. 06/12/16 8:45 p.m.. I will think better next time. Good grief can not wait to get my order and go. very uncomfortable. 2 stars because food is usually good.
