Hey Grumpy Guy,.... yeah, its "only one piece of toast" you got (handmade fresh... that morning. next to a #HighPeaks sized pile of homefies Christopher peeled, sliced, spiced and griddled to perfection at zero-buttcrack early that morning.. Not very good. My eggs were very undercooked and came with only 1 slice of toast. They wanted $1.50 more for a second slice. Our waiter was pleasant. But the others have no clue how to communicate. Seriously, we left the place perplexed by their idiocy. In the interest of fairness, my wife liked her chocolate chip pancakes.

* AVOID* Ordered Chicken fried Steak , was frozen in center. Told waitress they did nothing about it. You can see into kitchen from booths, the cooks were looking at me and laughing. I would avoid this restaurant like the plague . We did our research and wanted to have breakfast at chair 6 but they were closed.

Best chocolate chip pancakes I have ever had. The prices are very affordable too. Go with an appetite because the serving sizes are hearty!!! If you are planning on walking around the Olympic Complex do that first, then get brunch.

It was as expected. Tasty but dont get the "homemade" corned beef hash. Tastes exactly like canned Hormel hash. Not worth the extra charge. Eggs were perfectly cooked and the pancakes were nice and fluffy. Well eat here again.

The lodge where we stayed sent us to a place that was already closed. So we came to the downtown diner. Great service and the food was delicious. Im glad the other place was closed. Would definitely come back to the diner.

The worst experience. The waiter was extremely rude. We were waiting to be seated for 20mins even when our table was already served and ready. It took waiter 30 minutes to bring us water. She brought dirty glasses, etc...

Toward the lower end of main street with paking on the side. Takes only cash. Typical diner fare. Lots of locals. Service a bit slow and had to ask several times for coffee refills. Left full, but not gushing.

Great food and friendly service. Basi breakfast and lunch fare, but with some nice options (veggie sausage, roasted veggies), and theyre very willing to customize items in your order. A really great place!

When hiking in the Adirondacks, The Downtown Diner is my favorite place to fuel up before a day of pushing my body to the limits. Their Eggs Benedict are my favorite item on the menu.

Ive always found the staff to be friendly and prompt. The food is classic American diner fair, and anything Ive ever had has been really good. The biscuits and gravy are top notch.
