Pretty poor service. They have a spinach flatbread on the menu. One person in my party got it. It may have been the single most unappetizing product Ive ever seen. The "dough" was premade. It looked more like Matzah. The top of it looked like someone dumped a can of spinach on it and then threw an embarrassingly obviously processed piece of American cheese that wasnt even melted on top. Completely embarrassing to even offer a product like that on the menu. If you cant do it in a way thats even edible, then dont offer it. Not hard. The chicken Caesar wrap was more lettuce than chicken. The Greek salad was good. However, its a pretty big salad to be served on a miniature plate. Half of it ended up on the table. An all in all great example of a restaurant full of ineptitude. Yeah, its a diner. But, it doesnt have to be insulting.

They accommodate very well for large families. Our family (10 of us) had just spent the day at Sahara Sams and were hungry. We spotted this diner and decided to try it. We are a very loud family and I thought this wouldve been unacceptable for the diner but it wasnt. The waiter had his work cut out for him because my mother, sister and grand mother are very picky people. He was patient and kind. The food was excellent. We ended up having dessert (rice pudding), which wasnt that great hence only getting 4 stars. Other than that I would definitely go back and certainly recommend.

2 out of 4 diners had a good meal. Good service. Ordered a pastrami omelet. Seemed to be stuffed with salty corned beef instead. Otherwise, except for the lumpy creamed chipped beef, everything else was good. Well maybe except for the really dirty condiment containers and greasy salt and pepper shakers. I probably wouldnt be writing a scathing review if anyone there would have asked something as simple as "Hows everything?" or seemed to care about the quality of the food. The kids did like their meals.

We went there and the only thing good was French onion soup. I ordered tuna lightly seared. It was well done tough dry and very fishy smelling. The potatoes were instant and had lumps that were not mixed in. Buttered carrots had no flavor or butter. Lemon meringue pie was soggy. It also had tough and gritty meringue . My husbands gyro had a mayo like Tasiki sauce . It was bland . My granddaughters spaghetti and Choco pudding were ok but she didnt eat it. Wont be back.

I used to love this diner when i was younger but my experience there yesterday was not good. They seated us on the dark side near the kitchen (maybe because we had 3 kids, who knows) away from everyone else. Our waitress put her whole hand over top of each of our glasses while serving us, and my food was not very good for the price i paid. I asked for medium-well prime rib and it was practically raw. Sorry to say, we will not be going back there anymore.

Food was good , fresh. People waitress very nice . Place is Very dirty though.. Our seat had all kinds of stuff behind the cushions, the bathroom smelled horrible, along with looking at the vents and door jams in bathroom they havent been cleaned in a very long time. It grossed me out . Unfortunately as I liked the food . I will not be returning as if bathroom that dirty and our table and seats that dirty only can think what the kitchen looks like.

This is actually my favorite diner to go to. I love coming here at any time of the day. My favorite for breakfast is creamed chipped beef, and Greek salads for dinner or lunch. They have had mostly the same wait staff for years and have never encountered a problem here, and I have been coming here since the 80s. I love how they decorate for each holiday. Staff is friendly, owners are friendly, and the food is good!

Pretty standard Jersey Diner. I dont know if they do anything better than the other diners to separate themselves, but they dont do anything horrible. Ive never had a bad experience in many years of coming here. Definitely not a place to go out of your way for, but if you want typical diner food, prices, and specials then stop on in if youre passing through. Dinner for two is roughly $30-$50 including a 20% tip.

A traditional Jersey diner, the Palace serves American favorites and Greek specialities. The Mastoris family is always present making sure that everything is up to snuff. Im a fan of their excellent cheeseburgers, broiled pork chops, and Greek salad. If you are looking for a good basic Jersey diner meal at a reasonable price in a clean restaurant, the Palace is your choice.

The moment I had walked in I was greeted with a warm welcome and smile by all staff including my server Savannah in which provided me with the up most greatest customer service, serving/dining etiquette. I would highly recommend the palace diner and their server/host Savannah. 100% satified and returning customer.

I dont have anything bad to really say. Its an okay place to eat if youre close by. The atmosphere is a little dry, the food is okay. I wouldnt say its super delicious, but there is flavor. Overall its just meh. As in like meh maybe ill go again if my first choice resturaunt is closed.

The samon was over cooked.. the girl didnt bring out the gravy on my mashed potatoes... my flounder wasnt really that fresh tasting.. I wouldnt recommend any of the seafood dishes there are many better places like oceanos that have way better seafood dishes

Horrible this waitress think that the color of your skin matches your money. I got green cash just like the tip she lost when we walked out with a group of 7 wouldve been nice. To my Latino families... no vayan pa ya. Hopefully the waitress was fired.

One of the best diners in New Jersey and Ive been to most of them. My favorite to order are the seafood entrées & salads. My family & I are always comfortable in The Palace Diner and often order from the catering menu. All the way around a great diner.

The whole restaurant was dirty and smelled terrible. I felt like I was eating in the toilet stall in the mens room. It was also arguably the worst meal of my entire life. It tasted like I ate a diaper for dinner. Will never be going back.

The food is decent here but the service is sometimes poor. It is okay sometimes but usually it is slow and I feel rushed when they finally show up. I come because its convenient but its all around just okay.

Crappy service food was ok, normally when we go out to eat our server checks on us. Well we were there for 25 mins and only saw her when she gave us the food which was also incorrect. Never again
