I am giving it one star only because you have to give at least one to publish the review. This is one of the worst restaurants I have ever visited. Very poor service. The food was horrible. They have like a thousand items on the menu, and apparently cannot make any of them well. The pot roast I had, which was a special of the day, tasted like it came out of a can. Just a poor experience over all. And the two tables next to us sent back their initial entree because it was inedible. One guy had ordered fish and sent it back because it was spoiled, ordering an omelet. Then they charged him for the salad that came with the fish entree!

Disappointing. Service was slow. Did not get what we ordered. I asked for a grilled chicken sandwich with some spice. when I asked them for hot sauce it took over 5 minutes to get it. We asked for corn and got broccoli. Pasta was overcooked and flavorless. Seasoned frys werent seasoned at all. The minestrone soup tasted like it had sugar in it.

This is my "Go To " diner in Sullivan County.Great menu selection tasty food and of course the staff are always friendly and attentive.I cant forget the cleanliness of this diner it gives you the confidence that your food will be taken care of with the highest of standards.

They triple charged my credit card and it was difficult to undo. So for 49.00 dollars bill I was charged 3 times, one for 49.71, the second charge was 56.00 and a third charge was 56.00 dollars. It was not reversed as of this date.I had to get my bank involved. What a mess.

The food is fine, nothing to write home about, the service is a bit slow, and if you ask for, say, a glass of water after youve ordered you can wait until closing time and wont ever get it. Id go there If I was really hungry and/or in a rush while in Monticello.

One of the best diners in the area. Some of the wait staff can be a little on the crotchety side but still provide great service, the smile is just optional (its that NY seal of authenticity). Excellent omelets, and they make great grilled chicken sandwiches.

Went there a few times the food great most of the waitress are very nice but when it came to the bill. First time they added the tip and wasnt told that and we left her a tip which was $20 and then went there again recently and was charge $45 twice. Its a joke
