If you are from India, miss your mother cooking your breakfast of parathas in the morning or just miss Indian food, you should go here. I mean, your mother wont be there but it will be a sweet little aunty-like figure who will roll the parathas and make it on the pan for you. She will also make sure you get them piping hot and that there is butter in your food. If you get bread pakora or samosas, they will also make sure you get the special sauce for them. It has that weird sense of being homely but in a non-upscale restaurant kind of home. If you have never had Indian food before, it will be a very unique experience- like you have been transported to India- which means it is not the cleanest, most orderly or modern looking place out there- but the food sure tastes good. Especially, try the freshly made parathas. It does not even cost much, esp with $7 lunch specials- who even has those? Except the carts of course...

Very good only vegetarian food. Restaurant . bad part is , garbage is packed and stored in toilet. I was called back after leaving restaurant and asked if I paid when I already paid and happy the workers inside remembered me that I paid or else I might have been in jail . To dont even give receipts for paid items as proof that I paid.

What can i say. The most authentic indian food i have ever had west of bombay. Service is slow. People clearly dont know how to handle large crowds. Call me biased. But something this authentic is impossible to find elsewhere in the ciry

The place is the best Indian food place in New York. The food taste extremely good, staff behave so nicely. They cook everything in front of you. You will find the real taste of India in their samosa chat and vada pav.

I like fresh Indian bread and this place have multiple options for North Indian food. Every morning they have fresh samosas yummy! I would go again if I lived in that neighbourhood. Moderate price and friendly staff.

Great place to go for samosa chaat and a paratha. Whenever I am in Jackson Heights, I stop by here for a snack. It is a great place to go when on the way to or from Laguardia Airport.
