Great selection of drinks on tap. The white chicken chili is a must to get! The place has become more of a sticky bar vibe than an actual restaurant. They have their waitresses dress like its hooters, which is not appealing for the average lunch or dinner crowd. Hence why I gave it 3 stars and not 4. It used to be more family friendly and has gone down hill. Some of us dont want our burger severed with a side of T and A. Save it for the late crowd central city. Not lunch on a Saturday.

Im quite impressed with this restaurant after two visits. One visit was with a small party and one was with a large party. Central City handled both well, and I was especially pleased with how they accommodated the larger group. The service was prompt and friendly, everyone got their order correctly, and there was timely attention paid to every detail like drink refills, to-go boxes, making sure the check was split appropriately, and so on. I offer my compliments to the staff.

Weve been coming here for a few years now and have always had a good if not great experience. Kate has ensured our weekly visits will continue by always providing over-the-top service. The menu has a little bit of everything and there are daily specials such as pasta night or wing night. The Big Baker is delicious and definitely worth trying if you like potatoes at all. If you havent been here before it is worth stopping in!

Ive eaten here twice for lunch over the past couple of months. Great food, and a great atmosphere. The staff is friendly and helpful, and it has a really nice home-town feel. Kinda like "Cheers", but in Cortland. They were running a special when I was there and I had two 1-pint glasses of Saranac beer for lunch, and it cost only $4. How can you argue with that. Its nice to see a local place not only survive, but thrive.

Food was very good aside from my fries which seemed a bit overdone and as though theyd been sitting a bit. The entrée was fantastic and the service at the bar was pretty attentive. Seemed like they were stuck listening to some regulars stories and couldnt break away without seeming rude. Understandable. All-around very good experience.

This is my favorite place to have a drink in Cortland for many reasons. Ive been here often enough over the years that it feels homey. There is outdoor seating in the back away from traffic. The place isnt dark but its cozy. The bar and wait staff are always pleasant and pretty attentive. Get the tower of fries.

Went with a large group and the server was very accommodating with splitting the bill. I had typical sports-bar type food including wings, waffle fries, and a quesadilla. The wings were the highlight with the "inferno" sauce being right around the max for my heat tolerance (think 1-2 habaneros per dozen wings).

I just went here for the first time and ordered the chicken fingers. They put a sauce on them that does not make them taste good at all. I gave them a four due to people around me loving their food. I will go back and order something different, give them another try.

This was my first time here,I met a friend there from Ithaca and Im from Syracuse,great atmosphere very prompt service staff was very friendly food was very good with a nice menu selection.Would definitely recommend this as a place to go!!!

Was uninspired by menu choices (burgers, salads, sandwiches and pasta) but waitress was super accommodating and happy to make lots of modifications! All told was yummy and the waffle fries were delicious.

Its only OK. I did enjoy the atmosphere and had a good time with my friends. Our waitress was quite good, too. But the food, some tasty and some not, was overpriced for some fairly small portions.

The pasta was HORRIBLE! I ordered the central city pasta, and it was watery, and flat. And the garlic bread was burnt. Even the chicken fingers where undercooked. I will NEVER come here again!

Have only sat down to eat once but was great. Nightlife is always fun, can be crowded while SUNY Cortland is in session; but this should be expected in a college town!
