I came here for brunch with my boyfriend. I actually heard about this place on Instagram. I saw someone post the patron bottles filled with some orange goodness and I was all in. The place was smaller than expected but really nice. Our waitress was pretty friendly and helpful as well. I didnt know what I wanted to drink and she suggested my drink for me. I ordered the skirt steak with white rice and plantains and it was very good. Im going to give this place one more try later at night to see what the vibe is like. While we were there we were one of three tables being served so it was pretty quiet. Perfect for a nice brunch with my king. The parking in the area is not as easy. We have to circle around a little bit to find a spot. After all that circling around we ended up finding a spot right in front of the restaurant and someone was just leaving. This restaurant is not too far from home Queen friendly and has pretty good food. If Im in the area again Ill definitely visit. Oh yea! The prices were about average for Queens. If you go Uptown to the Bronx or harlem....youd pay half...but I guess youre paying for the ambiance.

LOL ! At first glance you say to yourself. "Wow" small but comforting. Then the owner Mario welcomes you like family and immediately sits you down and gives you these amazing chicken meatballs with bread you would have thought was made by angels. Now you feel at home and cant wait to order. My only regret was not going with 8 people so you could all order something different and try everything. Im a big Sicilian guy weighing in at around 350 and I left stuffed. If he had a couch , I would have been on it. The black linguini is by far the blackest linguini you will ever have anywhere with the most Flavor. "I didnt share" I shreadded through it like I hadnt eaten in a month. Leave your phones at home, you wont need them anyway. THIS PLACE IS A MUST WITH PEOPLE WORTHY OF MAKING MEMORIES WITH. BUONA PETITO !!

An exceptional restaurant featuring refined classical cuisine with a few personal touches and some of the best homemade pastas this side of Italy. The service is warm and attentive, allowing for a comfortably paced experience.Typically, we order the baked clams Oreganata and perhaps a salad as well. The fruitti di mare is outstanding, an enjoyable occasional choice. We favor the veal dishes, especially veal pizzaiola and veal.Mario. Wine recommendation is consistently on the money, and good value. We travel from Park Slope, Brooklyn and have many good options, as well as a short jump into Manhattan. Quality is addictive.

The food and wine was phenomenal. If youre looking for a cozy, old fashioned, romantic experience this is your place. Initially I wasnt going to be allowed in because of my attire but the owner let me slide this time. I get it though he is trying to maintain the vibe of the place. They also dont allow phones to be used during service which I also understand. Come here for a nice romantic night out!

☆☆☆pay attention to the dress code☆☆ This place is one of the best restaurants I ever being to. The staff is professional and make you feel welcome always and as for the food, my fiance and I treat the menu like a check list and we check off what we have had and try something else the next time. To eat at this place is an experience. Apart from the menu dont pass up on the special of the day.

Absolutely terrific! I invited my mom to dinner here and the owner greeted us with elegant eagerness. He took our jackets, showed us to our table, and served us food even though we did not make a reservation. The food is beyond this world: the bread was buttery, the salad was surreal (pear in salad ftw) and the pasta was rich and delicious. Would go again next time Im in NYC

Smelled rotten. Hostess not present during entry. No cellphone policy (difficult to view posted at store front/ NOT posted on website as "owner~waiter" stated) made an uncomfortable first and last dine similar to a parent scolding you at the dinner table. Get with the times. PS: the phone was faced down on the table

Classy service with the warmth of a well managed, family-owned business. Many delicious homemade items include soppressata, pork sausage and various pastas. Cozy atmosphere thats perfect for holiday dinners or intimate date nights. You dont have to, but go ahead. Throw on a tie and make it special.

The food is great. Everything is homemade. The pasta, their wine, desserts, bread. The owner is the server. He can be a little uptight. He has his rules. Esp with respect to cellphones. Dont use them. But otherwise he is friendly. Definitely something i will recommend

I drove an hour and a half in rush hour traffic to eat here and the restaurant was empty when I arrived with my family, but was refused to be served because my son was wearing shorts on a 90 degree day.
