Me and some friends had lunch here over the fall and it was a fantastic experience. The wait staff were very observant and helpful. The menu is wide and varied and the prices are pretty competitive compared to other sushi joints along Elmwood. Definitely try their take on the Spicy Yellowtail! It was amazing! Presentation of food was great. Decor was awesome. Id definitely recommend this to anyone whos looking for a great sushi time at a quieter smaller place.

the only thing okay about this place is the food the waiter service is terrible and once after i spent a 80 dollar bill wih little to absolutely no service from my waiter she had the audacity to ask me for tip with an attitude...my opinion if u want sushi theyre are better places to get good service and good sushi... it would be better to oreder out from here ...if you can

I love this cozy restaurant! Wasabi is my favorite Buffalo restaurant for sushi. I love choosing the lunch combo thats only $10-11 (I forget if its 10 or 11) and you get miso soup with three different rolls. I love having the choice of three different rolls. Ive never had a bad food or service experience here.

Omg I went there for lunch today and I must say the food was amazing. The sushi was delicious and the Terryaki Salmon was absolutely out of this world!! That was my first time there but I will definitely be a repeat customer.I was so glad to see brown rice sushi as well.

I have seen lots of old reviews that were negative. I just started going there this month, and have been multiple times, and everything has been fantastic! Nice serving staff, only a small language barrier. Love the chilean sea bass. I will keep eating there over and over again!

This is a great little place for classic sushi. I never deviate from my usual order and Im never dissatisfied. Cozy, pleasant, and comfortable. Tables are pretty tightly spaced, maybe take your coat off in the entryway, but I love the atmosphere.

Like other people said, its not the best but it is good for the price and the location is also pretty awesome. We order lunch from here at work and it is always good. The dressing that comes with the lunch special salad is delicious!

I dont usually write reviews but saw a negative one about wasabi and just wanted to defend my wifes and I favorite sushi place in buffalo. We love it and go there frequently. Never had a bad experience. I would highly recommend it.

The menu is lacking items and no vegan options in this day in age, places should be able to substitute one thing for another like tofu for chicken. The lunch sizes should have been larger and the lunch special where confusing.

This is a very good restaurant and has a rather cozy and calming environment. My best friend and I went here back in August 2015 and we had so much food. It was not too expensive, either. I highly recommend this place to all.
