Adults & Peers Please Beware- On April 8th 2017, 2 Bouncers assaulted myself and my friend (in from out of town). We Reached Encore around 3am and were greeted by a bouncer asking for $20 cover for the each of us. I told the bouncer that I had a friend in from out of town and I just wanted to pop in so we could see my girlfriend S**** briefly. The bouncer immediately raged and told me to "f*** off". (Confused by his remark) I restated my girlfriends name as well as my intentions and the bouncer got another bouncer to shove and elbow me and my friend out of line. On the way out they yelled that my stupid F***** girlfriend would be without a job come tomorrow?... Encore, your doormen are asking for a lawsuit. Do some house cleaning before I take action. This situation should not have happened. Your customers are your business. I am not a child in college. I run 2 businesses. And I cannot go to work in the morning with a F****ing shiner below my eye because one of your imbecilic bouncers decided to be a "big man?"

Overall, a great sushi/sashimi place. The wait staff was very friendly, and the menu was varied and well prepared. The sushi was pretty fresh, but the rice rolled in was not quite as cohesive as I would have liked. Also, the waiter suggested a bottle of Riesling after the one I ordered was not available, and he brought me the wrong one (albeit, a matching bottle that tasted good). Having worked in the retail wine and winery industry, the wine thing really bothered me. But, the food that was offered here was quite good, considering it was in Buffalo. The pricing was about what I would expect.

My friends and I were in town for ships reunion. Six of us dined on a Friday evening. It was a wonderful experience. The wait staff were prompt and courteous, the wine list extensive and the food was fantastic. I highly recommend the strip steak and the scallops. No one at the table (there were six if us) had a complaint. One of their specialties appears to be home made gelato for dessert, You must try it!!!

We came to Encore for Restaurant week and had a great experience. The service was good and quick (when our very busy waiter forgot to get us another glass of wine he was very apologetic & gave our next glasses on the house). The food was also very good! Definitely would recommend! If you want a more intimate setting ask to sit upstairs, away from the bar but dont pass the bar on the way out!

Tucked away off Park Street South is this beautiful Lebanese restaurant based on Armenian ingredients. This is my favourite food so I had high expectations. I was not disappointed! We ordered the Chefs selection for 4. The food kept on coming and coming-true Lebanese style-and it was excellent quality. A unique restaurant;

On Tuesday night they have all you can eat sushi except youre only allowed to order two rolls at a time. The rolls take about 45 minutes to come and when they finally arrive they are fairly small and taste particularly good.

Snide waitstaff and discriminatory religious attitudes are out of place in this city, but thrive just fine among the server and waterboy we had. Will not return. And your duck was bland.
