I went and ordered the simplest thing on the menu while no one was around. I ordered an Adana Kebab on Turkish Bread. I checked with the preparer every 5 minutes to ask what the delay was about and he kept serving other 5-6 folks that showed up later. After asking 4 times and waiting 16 minutes, I asked again what is taking so long. He said "I forgot". Well, how can you forget when I asked you times while in front of your eyes. Literally in front on the other side of the counter. I got very upset and now understand why there were 2-3 people cursing out the whole place (and the same guy) last time I was there to get some food. Even that time, they were giving attitude to us. This place may have been decent in times but now, it takes customers for granted and treats them like dirt. Please do not go here. My gf and her family stopped and so have I now. Shame on this place and I hope they go out of business or become a museum. Thanks for reading my review.

Always stopped by for the lamb gyro, and always felt a sense of not being welcomed. The last two times I stopped by the guy who does the gyros in the kitchen started smirking and talking to the cashier in their language, the cashier then informed me that I would have to wait twenty mins for gyros because of a "big order" no problem I waited in my car for a half hour. On 10/19/14 around 10 pm I stopped by again, same thing. The kitchen hand smirked and had a conversation in their language and the cashier informed me that there are no more gyros. I pointed out that there is meat still on the grill/roaster, his response was that was for inside. Very humilating experience, from two rejects. Five middle fingers up. Will never visit this establishment again. The gyros are ok nothnig special, I feel better not giving these mofos my money.

I went out yesterday for dinner with my family. The food was ok, but the waiter added an extra appetizer that I was charged for. I could not return it, since my son who didnt know, put his fork in it. We also ordered a grilled octopus salad that I asked the waiter twice for, and he said it was coming up. The third time I asked him for the octopus salad, he said that they dont have it. Also the portions much are smaller if you dont speak Turkish. My neighbors, who I met in there yesterday have the same opinion about cutting down on the portions. The waiters dont have the same respect to you if you dont speak Turkish. We will go to Tacy Beyti on P and Coney Island next time

I want to rate this place not even a one star. Ordered food and 2 1/2 hours later still no food. Called them and they said they had a mix up with the delivery. They said the would give us $10 off. Completely unexcepable. Bad business as a business owner myself you make the customer happy. They are money hungry and there customers mean nothing to them. Pretty sad we ordered there many times. Rude and the man who owns the restaurant should be ashamed of himself. Lost a very good customer be of his greed. Food wasnt even that great. Chicken dry and never prepared the same ever. Learn how to business. As a business owner myself this makes me sick.....

Friday, May 21,2017, My boyfriend and I called to see if there was a table available, the host answered and slammed the phone down after she said yes, We entered and I felt like they judged us because I wasnt Turkish(the looks we got), They didnt bring us a drink till half way through our dinner and we had to as for a knife and fork because there wasnt any on our table. Amazing food but horrible service, If youre miserable at work then call out! Just a suggestion.

Been here many times over the years with family. The food is good. The service is good. Ive come to the conclusion that the best way to go is to fill up on the appetizers like Hummus, Baba Ganoush, Shepherds Salad, calfs liver, etc... Order something cheap as the main course, or even just share a main course. Save yourself some money. Their appetizers are much better than their meals. Great place for vegetarians.

This place is a MESS! The worker behind the counter taking the orders and processing the transactions seems inexplicably aloof and just disinterested. The employees handling the food act as if they are in a schoolyard. Its just improper behavior. Whats more is the gyro meat off the doner! Watch out! They use dairy products..either milk or yoghurt is used. Theyre liars and I had to find out the hard way :/

If you like Mediterranean food that is fresh than this is the place for you. The salads are huge, the kabobs are big, and the hummus along with the homemade bread is fantastic. I recommend the grilled sea bass and the chicken chops. Both are seasoned to perfection. The gyro meat is so good you cant stop eating it. They have a hard time making a good Martini but you can bring your own booze.

really bad attitude towards customers , their workers dont know how to be nice with a customer, food is not bad i have to agree with that but just because they are busy it doesnt mean that they can be rude with people and manager is no where to be found when you want to talk to him about his employees , they need to do better to satisfy a customer and work on their customer relations

Thieves and disgusting waiters. Food is good but over priced. I have gone here a number of times. They literally robbed my 50 year old mom. She does not understand English well and they took 40$ extra from what was on her reciept and also had the audacity to ask for tips... I have pledged myself to never go there again. I regret recomending my mom to go to this place with her friends.

Used to be much better than it is now. The chicken is very dry as of late. If you take your food to go, dont waste your money on a gyro. You basically going to get a lettuce sandwich with a tiny bit of meat in it. Its a shame because I used to love this place now I have to wonder if Im ever going to eat there again. It has lost any specialness that it ever had

I go here all the time. I love getting their red lentil soup and the chicken kebab. You have to try the sagaras (did I spell that right?) they are filo dough with feta cheese in it, I love it. Also their hummus is very good and I dip almost everything in there. If you want a salad try the Shepards salad, it is tomatoes and cucumbers with feta cheese.
