I went with a friend and we shared the Bulgogi hot pot. The design of the dining room is very contemporary/industrial and I applaud them for choosing this really interesting style. The food was entertaining as well as delicious and a very good price! The staff was very attentive and since we are neophytes at the hot pot style of dining, they gently guided us through the cooking part. The pot was arranged beautifully when it was brought to the table, showing great attention to the aesthetic possibilities, even though its basically a beef noodle soup with thin slices of steak - everything about the style of presentation and service made it a great meal. The soup was also quite delicious! We will definitely be back!

Finally, a real Korean bbq place in the Capital district with grills set in the tables and k-pop playing on the ubiquitous big screen TVs. Menu says the staff will cook your meal but thats just for neophytes; if you want to grill your own theyre happy to let you. I was there with a party of 3 for lunch and we were happy with our cross section of $11 dishes. "Spicy pork" probably my favorite. Solid Korean flavors and ample though not abundant panchan. Have not been for dinner and the word is theyre a bit miserly with the portions then, which average $28 at that point; however, theyre happy to refill the panchan which to me are more important than the meat.

We always like this place, been back a few times although we know not to compare it with the ones in Fort Lee/Korean town, however this is the best we have up here. Definitely good food, but I am not Korean so I cant judge the authenticity. It is good enough for us to satisfy our craving for Korean bbq and we like the spicy tofu soup. One thing to note, the Bachan (side dishes) selection is very limited, and they dont top them up as how other Korean places do unless you ask for more. The prices are also on the high side compare to the usual eat out in this region.

As good, if not better than, any korea town restaurant Ive been to in Manhattan. We were on a tour group and running late for our pick up. After explaining the details they rushed our order in under 20 minutes and still managed to make it one of the best meals I ever had. Nice and spicy. Not for plain palettes.

Worst Korean I have even been. Expensive meal with nearly no service. Cheap on side dishes 3 piece of 1/8 of an egg. You kidding me? 3 piece of lettuce? And no garlic when requested. Since when did Korean stop cooking with garlic? Appetizer has became dessert. For $54 you would expect more from a restaurant.

You have to try this atleast once if you are in town. Great BBQ experience with a variety of dishes. Little bit expensive but worth a evening. the place is good to have private conversations. Typically a group of 4 is nice but there is a group room for reservation for large rooms.

Food was good when attended to. Food was left to burn and one serving went cold. Table was never cleared empties were never removed nor were plates. And trying to get napkins was ridiculous. I still enjoy this place but wish they would get the service down.

Went with my fiancée and eveything great. Service was great, food was even better. It was our first time with Korean BBQ and server was very helpful with explaining. Both the Green Tea ice cream and Rice Doughnuts, were amazing. Definitely going to go back

I will definitely be returning here. This is most definitely my new go to Korean spot. It is a little pricy, but I believe it was well worth it. Food came out quickly and was very hot. I love the laid back atmosphere. It was very welcoming and relaxing.

Fantastic Korean food. Authentic as it comes. I was stationed in South Korea for a year and Namu is just as good if not better then any Korean food I had in the country. Dont be a sheltered typical american, go try some awesome Korean food

The food was tasty and filling. Prices arent too bad. Grilled squid may not look too appetizing but its delicious. I love the Korean culture which shows in the food music and atmosphere. Will definitely go again. 5 stars if it had a bar.

Had my first experience with Korean barbecue here the other day and I was not disappointed. The garlic pork was fantastic and the bibimbop was some of the best Ive had in a very long time. Ill definitely be back soon

Very cool interior. Always playing k-pop on huge tvs, which isnt the best in terms of watching or listening. Good kimchi and scallion pancake, but other dishes are just not quite as good as they could be.

I had an amazing time! The food was delicious, the Kpop on the TV was very good to listen to and watch, and the waiters/waitresses were very nice. I am definitely coming here again~!

Nice atmosphere. Food is over-priced. One of the most expensive Korean bbq restaurants Ive been to. Believe me, Ive been to many from coast to coast. Price here is ridiculous.

Ive been here half a dozen times. The food is so good. Update: make that half a dozen plus one. The food is amazing, easily one of the best places to eat in Albany.

Really cool spot in a strip mall. Had some BBQ options that were cooked at the table. The food was great and the server was helpful in getting more sides.

Excellent food. I have never been disappointed with my order, and I brought my parents here once. It is now on the list of must-go anytime they visit.

Food is absolutely not worth the price. As a Korean, authenticity in my opinion is not there at all. I will not be returning after two visits.

Boodae jjigae was horrible. It seems like $5 worth and they are charging $36 for it. Its taste was way below average, also.
