Just had breakfast at Re.Union. While its been years since weve lived in NYC, we are well traveled and have dined at every rage of eatery from 5 star gourmet to food trucks to roadside kiosk. Re.Union is just around the corner from our airbnb. We started with a brunch menu where the copy under each heading was barely readable; the font was too light. We ordered frittatas and half-caf coffee. Shortly after we sat down, a young man came to us with an almost scolding tone to say they didnt make drip de-caf and that they could make it an expresso. While I appreciate that drip de-caf may not be part of their model, it certainly was not our fault the order was placed that way; the person taking our order shouldve informed us. The coffee arrived, and after adding just a dash of milk, it was barely warm. What that says is it either sat for too long before being served or they served it in very cold cups, or prepared it lukewarm. So now we have barely warm coffee, that was bitter to boot. After watching three other people, who arrived after we did get their food, my husband inquired what was happening with ours. He was told it was in the works. A short time after that it did arrive piping hot and tasty. The server apologized that it was delayed and stated that Re.Union bakes their frittatas and it takes longer. Being quite hungry when we arrived, had we known we wouldve made other choices. Our advice to the person taking orders at the counter would be to let customers know that theyre ordering something that will take longer than usual to prepare. With that knowledge one can make a decision to wait or place an order that arrives in a reasonable time. Based on the lack of informed service and being a bit overpriced for what you get, we give it 3 stars.

Absolutely amazing find! I loved everything about this place. The food was delicious, atmosphere inviting, and service friendly. I ordered the Incredible Shawarma and incredible it was! The chicken was so tender and sauces delicately paired. I would definitely recommend the pita bread on the side as well in place of the standard. The pita was fluffy and an amazing complement to the flavor packed Shawarma. I also tried my friends Shakshooka, and though it was beautiful and still good, didnt leave me with the wow factor the Shawarma did. Overall however I would definitely come back to try some of the other things on the menu!

Super cute place, but it is somewhat overpriced. I came here because they accept cups and they had hearty breakfast. I enjoyed the green breakfast because it was really healthy, but seriously it was overdose on eggs. I wish there were more potatoes than egg ratio, but I am a die hard fan of potatoes and you may be a hardcore fan of eggs. Up to preference I guess! The seating is a bit weird where were all close to each other on the communal bench and I feel like Im eavesdropping on all conversations and vice versa...wouldnt want to be here when its crowded though. Iced Chai latte was delicious!

I visited Re.Union back in February and it was the first on our places of spots to try. I had a chicken schnitzel sandwich with an iced chai tea latte. The sandwich was delicious and the lemon aioli sauce was such a great choice to pair with the schnitzel. That was also the first time I had tried an iced chai tea latte, and ended up ordering another. For patrons with children, they have a cute little set up near the back for kids, which is always a little helpful for keeping them preoccupied.

Best breakfast I have had in Brooklyn. In the same conversation as Pancake Pantry in Nashville. I mean, people are complaining about greasy food at a diner? Do you also complain about the ambience at Waffle House? Some truths are self evident. This place is stellar and the uber-picky bride was digging it. Theres your sign. Dont change a thing!

Absolutely amazing. The service, the ambiance, the smiles from the wait staff. The fooood!!! EXCELLENT. We paid $48 for two breakfast meals and two coffees. Expensive but it matched the great service. You get what you pay for.

Reunions got the most amazing, nicest, coolest team. Their baristas make the best lattes in Williamsburg. Id definitely give them "the coffee shop of the year" title. Every year :)

Amazing food. Fine dining level food in a cafe. Plus they source local/sustainable ingredients. Really great spot for coffee and food, which is hard to find in a chill setting.

Unbelievable. I live in LA and am sad that I cannot go here daily for a goat cheese and blueberry balsamic reduction sandwich. Such great food. Come to LA!!!

Good place for a quick breakfast/brunch. They have a special weekend menu that adds a good mix to their normal menu. Serve Stumptown coffee - always a plus.

Good service, nice people, excellent coffee but, sadly, truly abysmal food... Key-food style spongey tasteless bread, raw (as in translucent) eggs, etc.

Fantastic little place; checks all the boxes, very well made coffee, tasty and authentic (Israeli) food, and a pleasant decor, an easy brunch choice.

The shawarma really is incredible. They are rightly confident enough to call it so. The Incredible Shawarma. Great friendly staff. Amazing food.

Nice small coffee shop. I still need to try their brunch. There is a lot of light in the room which is very nice.
